I liked Fallout 3 well enough and played/enjoyed some of New Vegas. I guess this looks like more of the same and that's enough for folks?
It is just an intro saying bey we are making Falout 4. It didnt really show much to know what is all in it. This looks like it may have se focus on the apocalypse itself which may be an interesting angle

Go PC if you can. Just imagine the mods that are undoubtedly coming especially if steam workshop is implemented as it was with Skyrim.

Edit: What I would really like to see is some flashback chapters to as the apocolypse started, but I'm guessing at most we will have an intro segment where we get to run from the nuclear blast before flashing forward at least a couple decades based on the overgrown roads.

I have some franchises that no matter what they do im just gonna be hype and happy they are making a new game. Kingdom Hearts 3 and this game so far are the only ones that got me "YEEES!". Doom 4 too even when they only showed 3 seconds of the thing.

I'm pretty 'meh' as well, as least for now. It's funny how excited you get for something then when it starts becoming real only then do you figure out exactly how much you really want it.

My thing is if it's "just another Bethesda game" it'll be great if you haven't played one before. Otherwise I gotta be honest: by the time I got around to playing Skyrim after Fallout 3 and New Vegas I was like "these games are so expansive, but they're just reskins of each other for the most part".

They've got to add something for me to be hyped this time around.

See, that's where perspective comes into play.

For me, "just another Bethesda game" is the only selling point I need. But I love their games and am admittedly biased. I can easily see where folks would get burned out on the formula too.

In any case, I'd been hoping against hope the next Fallout would be set in Denver, but either way I'm excited for Fallout 4.

We need Fallout Detroit  . What would be really interesting though would be some overseas Fallout Games like Tokyo, Moscow, or Hong Kong.

I think Boston is quite possibly my favorite possible setting for this game. Here's to hoping it has a lot more Lovecraftian inspired moments thanks to that setting. Point Lookout was the best part of Fallout 3.

Fallout Detroit would be amazing for its architecture and the whole motor city aspect of it. The downside is that they wouldn't need to do much to make it look post apocalyptic.

Moving to an entirely different locale in terms of country would be incredibly interesting. You wouldn't have to work with the established organizations like the brotherhood of steel or the New California Republic. Instead you would have free reign to make what you want and still have it in that familiar territory. I mean, look at it from Russia or China's perspective.

Already people are complaining about the graphics, fuck is that all that matters anymore? I wish to no longer live on this planet.

When I first played Fallout 3, I had never played a Fallout game, (didn't really like RPGs), and the graphics were well below what I was used to on the 360. That being said I decided to give it a try.

After I exited the vault for the first time, I was hooked. The atmosphere drew me in (there's just something eerie about the 50's style post apocalypse). It's hard to explain, but just being able to explore anything, at your own pace, your own way, and having this whole new "culture" to learn about was fascinating.

Keep in mind, I noted the graphics were below what I was used to, but it didn't matter at all. It was about the world, the style, etc. Looking at this trailer, the graphics look 100x better than Fallout 3 and people are still complaining? Seriously, it's all about gameplay for me, I just want a more open world, with less loading screens and I'd be happy, even if it looked like Fallout 3.
