Just found the english translated msx version rather quickly, using Bluemsx emulated the disks but had some sound problems. Never emulated msx before, will have to dig up on that more. Maybe you can check that out, I'll probably go with the segacd version on the psp.noiseredux wrote:That would be awesome! I'd love to play along on that one, but I dnt have a SegaCD anymore. Maybe I can find a fan translation of the PCEngine version or something.racketboy wrote:That's the only one -- unless someone did a fan translation....

I think we're gonna have to delay the official Galaga launch a day.
I was hoping to launch a new feature, but we're having issues....

Re: Upcoming Together Retro Calendar
well even though the feature isnt up yet, I started on Galaga tonight because my PS1 memory card arrived today. I must say, I'm really enjoying this game. Simple yet challenging.
Re: Upcoming Together Retro Calendar
I find Snatcher being on the list to be a strange choice. Not because the game is without merit but because of the rarity of the only official English translation (supposedly only a "couple of thousand units" were sold). It's easily in the top ten of my most expensive games - probably top five (which includes most of the rarer Saturn titles). I realize that the option of emulation exists, but I would assume there are others like me who choose not to emulate and who may, unlike me, not have the cash to throw down $100-130 on a single video game (and a light gun is nice too), never mind those that would need to acquire a Sega/Mega CD (and possibly Genesis/Mega Drive) on top of it. I totally advocate people playing it, but in terms of accessibility, a rare game for an unpopular add-on is pretty low on the list of accessible options.
