Arcade - Normal v 1.01
Kidpanda - 1,494,160 - Stage 3 - ? - 360 g][/spoiler]

I'm not sure what I think of this game, it's more playable to me than Ibara, (which sadly sends me into raging fits), but some of the things that are going on are a little unnerving. Rank is rearing it's ugly head in this one. Strangely enough I almost bought the PCB of this a couple of months ago but decided to try the 360 port first.

Oh, almost beat the Stage 3 boss with Shasta. Getting better clearing the rest of Stage 3 now too. Gradually improving, though, which is good.

Arcade - Normal

DocHauser - 2,496,030 - Stage 4 - Shasta - MAME

Woo...Stage 4! And I managed to no-miss up to the Stage 3 boss, which in hindsight was probably a mistake, because I screwed myself over with the rank (and I didn't get a 1up during the stage either). Rank was still a bit nuts at the start of Stage 4, but I managed to survive long enough to power-up the wide-shot again and make it to the mid-boss. Didn't drop the rose/medal chain at any point either, which was nice.

Nice job, Doc! Impressive man - for real. This game is just balls hard.

I finally got a chance to play this. I've heard how insanely brutal the rank system here is, but I found that not collecting medals really helps to keep it down. I think Mushihimesama Futari was a little bit more easily accessible. That 2 second death delay is rather annoying too.

ExedExes - 1,325,110 - Stage 3 - Kasumi - MAME (Arcade Normal)

So what we got so far -

DocHauser - 2,496,030 - Stage 4 - Shasta - MAME
Kidpanda - 1,494,160 - Stage 3 - ? - 360
ExedExes - 1,325,110 - Stage 3 - Kasumi - MAME

This game is so brutal; I literally rage-sold my PCB over on neo forums today.

I tried this out and no-missed the first three stages! :) Still need practice on Stage 4, though, as I just made it to the mid-boss again. Score was about 600k less than the one I posted. But I think this might be a tactic worth exploring if I want to get further in the game...

Haven't had any time for gaming this month, but Dannyboy's been having a go:

Dannyboy - a couple hundred - Stage 1 - not sure who he picked - 360 (Arcade Normal)
