I'm getting close to a full set of Smash Amiibos now, but unfortunately the ones I still need are basically all the rarest ones.

I still need:

Little Mac
Captain Falcon
Shulk
Metaknight
Lucina
Pac-man

Pac-man I have on order from Amazon Canada, so assuming it doesn't get cancelled that leaves 5 to go of the currently released ones!

They are restocking Meta Knight for sure, it's just a matter of when they hit stores. I don't think Pac-Man will be hard to find.

So....Lucina is on order now. Not long after I posted they put a bundle up on the UK Nintendo Store website for Codename STEAM and either a Marth, Lucina or Robin amiibo.

I've also noticed Little Mac and Captain Falcon seem to have had a restock in Japan recently? A lot of sites have them available for about £20. That's just under double the price of most new amiibo, so I'm tempted, but not sure if I'm ready to fork out for them.

I can't bring myself to pay more than MSRP for them. If I manage to snag anything I don't want I use it for trade. Sounds kinda douchey but I'm almost always on point when they go up for sale but because I don't have ten page monitors running like some people I often miss out anyways. I was watching like a hawk for Robin and Lucina and still haven't gotten either after many, many tries.

Not sure if I was going to put this in my videogame article dump thread.

but since it does involve nintendos plastic obessions I guess I'll leave it here.

Was it planned by thieves or just plain dumb luck?

How are they going to fence this?

A person I follow on tumblr linked this picture.

I ordered from Nintendo Store and mine arrived just fine yesterday. All 3 Splatoon amiibo plus the game.

The game is pretty awesome

Added Lucina, Robin, and villager to the fold the other day. Is it sad that only paying 80% over MSRP sometimes feels like a victory?

Also finally got my personal Amiibo holy grail: Little Mac. More so than any Amiibo other than Toad, Little Mac is the one I've wanted all along.

Really hoping that Wario is a super common once the NA launch frenzy dies because I'm going to need him to keep my Mushroom Kingdom collection complete.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

In the UK, Wario and Charizard were fairly easy to find around launch. The other 4 from that wave were hard to find though.

Edit: got confirmation that my Greninja and Jigglypuff amiibos are on the way too.

It boggles my mind that Nintendo's supply issues are such that NA is nearly two waves behind UK, EU, and Asia. I maintain my theory that Nintendo had no clue that Amiibo would be this successful.
