That's not a good sign when they try and get rid of something that badly. If only Sony would wake up and allow all Vita games to work on the thing if you have a PS4 controller handy since it has the touch panel the vita back does. Just dumb.
I'd have bought one back when it came out if they had done it right. I still want to play that Uncharted game again (had a vita pre-Gravity Rush and got bored of the no games for it.) Currently considering a local one someone has for $120 CIB with Uncharted and Hot Shots Golf which I both had and both hate PS TV.

A streaming device for renting games. Good riddance.Tanooki wrote:That's not a good sign when they try and get rid of something that badly. Streaming is just one of its features. It also has a cart slot for physical Vita releases and has access to a good portion of PSOne Classics, PSN downloads, and PSP titles.

I noticed Gamestop now has collectable statues of Zelda and some other figurine. The larger stores will be getting a huge display case of around twenty statues. That Zelda statue is $79.99 and some coming out will be going for $124.99!
Overpriced to induce gotta buy collectable mentality. The busts will likely be a bust. Between Skylanders, Infinity, Amiibo and now huge statues how much shelf space is left for the games!

Those collectibles were already around, and Gamestop already offered them online. Maybe they're compelled to put them in stores based on other sales?
I agree though, there's only so much room in their stores. 'course, they sold anime at one point, in addition to taking up half the store with big box PC games, when those existed.

Don't worry, CRT. Gamestop can just throw away the boxes and manuals to all the used games. No one likes those anyway. That'll save some shelf space for more Amiibos.CRTGAMER wrote:Between Skylanders, Infinity, Amiibo and now huge statues how much shelf space is left for the games!
Re: Is Gamestop Evil? The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
All of our stores have a section around the same size as the 3DS/Wii U area devoted to Pop Cap figurines
. About every store now has a carousel with a few hundred used sky lander/infinity figs on it as well.
As for the Vita TV it's card slot is the sole reason I want it. Wish Nintendo would do something similar for the DS/3DS. Emulation is pretty solid for the DS but I would much rather use my legit game carts.

Really wish Game Stop would price match. Not with Amazon, but with other large local retail stores.

That's nasty.
I have a suggestion. Submerge them in wine vinegar (except for the end tips so it doesn't leak inside the cable itself) for a few hours. Then rinse them off, and give it a sniff. If that got most of it good, if all great. If it got most or not enough, tupperware or like container. Spool it in there, then cover it with baking soda for a day or two, longer if needed.
I had to do this last year with some smokers lung filthy stinking legos I got from a flea market. The normal stuff I got the stank off of using the vinegar and a couple rinses in the sink. Problem is a good chunk of it was one of those earth dragon ninjago sets and the rubberized top/bottom head pieces absorbed it. That took like two weeks inside the sealed container with the baking soda powder but it got the stank out. I've had it in hot/cold inside of a semi-sealed plastic bow box since with my other misc parts and it hasn't re-funked up at all so it did the job.
I had those PSP cables years ago when I had the system and they're so useful with the games on the big tv or just for movies since those will full screen unlike the games.
