What was the last movie you've seen?

Stardust is technically a sword and sorcery movie, it's quite good

If you're going to recommend Stardust, then the next logical step is...

I don't keep up with what's available on which streaming service, but I do know that I have seen the Princess Bride DVD in $5 bins in grocery stores, pharmacies, dollar stores, and anywhere else that sells DVDs on the cheap including Sprawl*Mart.

Remember watching this movie a boat load of times when I was younger when it was being aired on TV. Happened to pick it up a while back on DVD and just got around to watching it again last night. Horribly cheesy at times with some pretty stiff acting, but still a fun experience with a lot of star power behind it.

Good suggestions, but I've seen everything besides Willow or Stardus. Its what I was afraid of, there just aren't that many of these types of movies. And the kide oriented stuff is fine, but not really my cup of tea.

Well, in that case...

Krull
Kull
Hawk the Slayer
Quest of the Delta Knights
Barbarians!
Wizards of the Lost Kingdom
Wizards of the Lost Kingdom II
Barbarian Queen
The Warrior and the Sorceress
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
Yor, the Hunter from the Future
Circle of Iron
Deathstalker I-IV
Ator I-IV

I am not vouching for quality with these.

A little late on the party for this movie but:

Gotta admit my hopes weren't high since the bigger iron man suit through me off on stark but I think I really enjoyed this more than I should've. Plus the running gag kept it going for me. I need to get around to watching the marvel and dc movies I've not seen yet but those are awfully low on my list right now since I really need to go and catch up on arrow/flash/gotham o_O

TOMORROWLAND

This is a film that isn't a waste of time, but neither time well spent. Director and co-writer Brad Bird usually makes incredible movies, and this movie will find a dedicated audience (teenage girls and groups of people in church vans), but remember all those great live action Disney movies from the past few years? Neither do I.

It's a bit "too" Disney (Disney of the past few years). For a production team that has worked with Pixar, you would expect more laughs, more action, and a straight forward story. Although it is beautiful and bright, it did not pass my "did I check my watch during the movie?" test.

It's a harmless film that isn't bad, and I do have to admit I thought this would be a blockbuster, but it didn't hold my attention. I thought AGE OF ULTRON was mediocre at best, but it held my attention. In this case I thought to myself a few times "Could have seen FURY ROAD again".

Basically I look at TOMORROWLAND as I do George Clooney. Handsome, but does nothing for me.

If you haven't watched them already, some of that seems to have lent itself more to genre TV in more recent decades. Netflix does have Hercules and Xena, and the Merlin TV series. Hulu has Legend of the Seeker, which is/was the Sword of Truth TV show.

There are also a fair number of anime that might at least partly qualify. I don't see anyone streaming Berserk, offhand, but Claymore would be along much the same lines and Hulu has that via Funimation - they also have a good bit, if not all of the Slayers shows.
