I have discovered:
  1. I suck at Hearthstone.
  2. It takes up over a gig of space on my phone.
  3. It drains my battery faster than any other iPhone game I've played up to now.
  4. I get mad that my opponents can do cool shit really early on in matches and I cannot.
  5. I suck at Hearthstone.

I was getting frustrated today as well as I was getting my butt kicked continuously. The big problem is that I am being paired up against people who have a variety of cards. I can't tell you how many matches I fought where all I came across were taunt minions thrown in over and over and over and over again. Or have the big shiny cards that are too cool for school. My matches tend to last only a few minutes with my imminent demise as I can't seem to get a spell in edgewise, only because I just don't have the card selection. I have resorted to just focusing on finishing the quests to get gold and unlock more packs.

Bogus, I feel like you understand the game damn well for someone who has just started playing. Are you doing online matches Casual or Ranked? You might wanna stick to Casual at first.

Another pointer: Key to beating Mike is get someone to rub his belly.

You're one of us now. Let me describe what every night of your life will be like going forward:

-Eat dinner.
-Check Hearthstone to see what the Daily Quest is.
-Play Daily Quest.
-Browse your collection.
-Make new deck.
-Play one match just to test new deck.
-Continue playing matches.
-Bed.

hahaha way ahead of ya! Just got my daily quest, played three matches, won those three matches. I was playing as a paladin and destroyed them, almost untouched. I think it is easier to play people in the middle of the day than it is in the evening, because I couldn't get a single hit in against people at night.

I am enjoying the Paladin class. It is really easy to make people feel overwhelmed and it really fits a nice aggressive playstyle, which is right up my alley. There are a few other classes like the Shaman that also really appeal to me. I haven't played around with making my decks yet as I grind my guys to level 10. Getting there, slowly but surely!

Was playing in the arena and kicking butt for a while. Of course, I was playing some people who didn't quite get what my cards did. I was playing as a Warlock and had a minion that had zero attack, but made every minion card cost half their summoning value. Because the minion had zero attack, they never would kill him, so at the beginning of each turn I would throw out 5 or 6 minions at a time.

The matches didn't last long.

He really should cost 7 or 8. At 5, he can come out too early. The guy who played him used his coin, so bought him on turn 4. At that point there a handful of 1 and 2 attack minions - so he'd purposedly attack those guys, take damage but not die. By round 7 there were 5 of them on the board, the original, 2 spawns from attacks on my minions, then he played a card that did damage to himself, which spawned 2 more of them. Brutal. Turn 8 he plays Enhanco Mechano - giving them all taunt, shield, or windfury. Match ended quickly. Brutal card.

Oh man that sounds absolutely brutal. He is a neutral card, so I could only imagine being a paladin and having him in your deck, just letting your little 1/1 minions attack him and then heal him over and over and over again. The thing is, even if you kill him, you now have 3 clones in his place. Only way to get him is by doing the blackrock mountain solo missions. Interesting!
