The N-Gage is such an oddity... I am starting to collect games for it here and there, mainly because I find them randomly in the wild...but I have yet to get a working phone. Maybe someday...

WOW! All three Rabbit Engineering consoles look sweet and very professional commercial quality. The addition of Arcade controls really top notch!

In addition to the power cord, do the RE consoles have a battery power option? Suggest standard AA batteries "always ready to play" instead of a rechargeable proprietary lithium that might be hard to find years later. To avoid retooling the beautiful base, the Battery Compartment could be an add on flat box at the back of the LCD. The AA batteries all lined up next to each other to keep the thickness manageable.

I noticed the RE Genesis has the cart slot at the top. A better position for switching carts, but maybe too close with a risk of being bumped to the buttons? Perhaps in the final revision add a little space between the controls and the cart slot? The top game slot is definitely an easy plug in option versus the rear. I am guessing the ATGames Genesis PlugNPlay PCB is used?

The RE 2600 addition of the "Trakball" game paddle is a very slick move. How does a game detect the stick versus the paddle, is there a slide switch? I hate the thought of a Flashback 2 getting cannibalized, but then again it is now in a much better housing with added cart slot!

The RE NES is also sweet! There are so many NES on chip clones out there, curious what the PCB is from.

Some might say the LCD is too small (they look fine to me); maybe add standard Composite and Stereo Audio RCA jacks at the base for hooking up to a larger screen? Any information on prices of the mini consoles? Hey, I gave the consoles a maybe neat Rabbit Engineering logo idea. The first two letters for very sweet REproduction consoles. :)

you hit the nail on a lot of stuff senor metal jesus.

there's a lot of games that are going to be rare to get physical copies for.

Especially all those rpgs.

I had a hard time getting trigger happy dangonripa as well. I finally got it for $25 at gamestop. It was a long hard struggle though.

During the holidays that game went down "used" to $25 at gamestop. I kept telling myself that I would buy it, but I didn't. Cue to late january and gameinformer magazine cited it as one of their top games of the year. Guess what gamestop does? Raise the price of it! its used price went to $34.99. I'm sure this was done on purpose due to the magazine. Thankfully the price only went up for a week or two. It went down again and I used my power up rewards points to get another discount.

I do want to get more vita games. But at $40 a pop new, its hard to choose which one to get. I like RPG's but as I see some of the pre-order stuff available, I dont know which one is a cut above the rest. Which one should earn my two Jacksons?

Speaking of Jacksons. You're right as well on the cost of vita memory cards. They really need to go down. But Since sony loves inventing new proprietary stuffs. I dont see that happening soon.

We need all the space we can get if PSN makes another flash sale in the future. Which I'm sure they will. All those ps1 games are 300mb+ and they quickly take up precious space.

Sweet job on that long cart, the putty covering the seam can hardly be seen. A tease for Eric to make the cart fit a Toaster NES. Perhaps two PCBs inside with ribbon cable and a step cart case to clear the down position. Okay would look silly, but imagine the looks with hints of a very obscure developer cart!

I love Dreamcast Rainbow Cotton! Its not a fast shooter but a kick in the "Space Harrier" (as described) style of game play. There are so many import original games which can easily run on a Dreamcast either the boot disc or going the region defeat bootable CDRs. Look for K Project version of Rez which has entirely different music.

There are also PS1 games that have the Bleemcast upgrade built in and run directly on a Dreamcast!

MJ - what are you playing on Vita?

I saw that you got one recently and I'm looking for some retail recommendations.
