Re: Games Acquired 2015
Got a disc only copy of Dark Wizard for the Sega CD for $8 shipped. Untested, but I checked the seller's other items for auction and it was the only thing they had that wasn't clothes, pottery, etc. I'll take a chance if I think the person legitimately couldn't test it. Price wasn't bad either.
I admit that if the person has a "Best Offer" option and it doesn't seem like they deal in games primarily I'll lowball a bit. They can always counter, and sometimes people just want stuff off their hands.

Re: Games Acquired 2015
So I grabbed a copy of God of War and Ratchet & Clank lose and scratched to hell and back for free. Hadn't played either and wanted to go through them in the summer games challenge. Spent $4 resurfacing them and BOOM! Work good as new!

It's amazing the job that a good resurfacer can do. I've seen them recover some pretty heavily ring-scratched 360 games.
I should consider taking in my scratched PSX copy of Persona at some point, and that copy of Tsugunai as well. The latter is of less import, though, since I did manage to successfully rip it using a PC and transferred it for use in HDLoader.

The only thing that bothers me about buffing discs is once that acrylic layer is gone and you're down to the polycarbonate layer, you're pretty much done (Even though it'd be pretty difficult to get there). It'd be nice if there was some personal equipment you could use to apply that layer again. (Is there personal equipment that does this?)

Bruh.
Sonic Adventure 2 is kinda, sorta expensive. Mainly because people didn't know it existed, until it's Gamecube re-release.
DoA 2 is around $10-$20, so you did really solid on that too.
Two games I've been wanting for my DC collection. Nice job.
Anywho, I found this game at a GameXChange yesterday; forgot to post about it, due to being busy.
SNES:
F-Zero: $7
Not a fantastic price, but anything under $10 is a steal for me, tbh. lol
This user really likes SEGA Saturn. Avoid at all costs.

Quite a few *new* purchases in there, but most of this is used/thrift store finds, which greatly help reduce the cost. The Gamecube games were a nice thrift pick-up. I have most of them already, but they were in such good shape that I picked them up so I could upgrade my existing collection. The rest are reserved for the 'sell later' pile, which I plan to do (I swear) once I get a good stack going.
The 7th Guest and 11th Hour boxes were also picked up at the thrift store for $1 each. Neither one had a game, despite a valiant search effort on my part. That's okay though, as both boxes were in good shape and came with most if not all their paperwork. 7th Guest not only had the manual and inserts, but also had the Special Edition 'Making Of' VHS included as well. Swap in the discs I already have, and I have now pieced together a complete box copy of 7th Guest
Now I just have to track down a copy of 11th hour (I swear it's got to be around that store somewhere) and I'll be golden.
I also probably over did it on the Sims stuff considering I've never played it before, but for a little over $1 a piece, I figured I could give it a whirl.
