saturn modchip install - power cable go where? how? who?

first off, thanks to racketboy for replacing my chip that went dead. after 2 1/2 hours i couldn't get the new chip to work, and i have a hunch i'm not doing something right (though the first install went so smoothly, grr!) i think the problem is the jumper/power cable point. can anyone show an EXTREME closeup of a properly installed jumper into the little socket? or can someone draw an mspaint picture showing in detail? i can't figure out if i need to solder the wire onto the little "pole", or if i need to sandwich it between the "pole" and the "hill". and obviously i need better nicknames for these structures...help!

heh, it does go on the "pole" that is where power first circulates then onto the unit itself.
