Re: Playstation Vita thread
I'm completely stoked for the release of Operation Abyss in a few weeks' time - preordered the Limited Edition from NISA Europe, although i'm still slightly butthurt at the fact that in the US it costs $54.99, whereas in Europe, it's £54.99 (about $85), and that's not including shipping (added on an extra £10 to Ireland).
I too would like more great RPGs and games in general to be localised that cater less to the ecchi audience, but if that's where the money lies, then i suppose we'll just keep seeing more of that shit as time progresses.

I needed a new PS3 controller and got the Vita TV bundle. It's a good microconsole for download games. I hope the Vita TV eventually gets modding capabilities though. I'd like to dump all of my PS1 and PSP games onto it.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
You shouldn't have updated it, the vitatv bundle comes out of the box on firmware 3.20, which is completely hackable, which I did and have dumped all of my PSP games and ps1 games on, not to mention all of the emulation as well.Opa Opa wrote:I needed a new PS3 controller and got the Vita TV bundle. @retrosportsgamer
Nice prices for sure, but from what I understood those prices were for the digital download versions only. I didn't bite because I prefer physical releases on this platform.
On a related note, I'm buying this tomorrow:

Re: Playstation Vita thread
Is Freedom Wars any good looking for some games to try out on my PS TV when it comes in on Friday and at $15 it looks worth picking up.
Re: Playstation Vita thread
PS TV showed up today and damn I didn't realize how small these are
. Thought I had an empty box for a second it's almost smaller then the power supply.

Picked up freedom wars to try it out with today at game stop for $15 "NEW" as well. Sadly I didn't notice they were missing the manual till I got home, but whatever

Re: Playstation Vita thread
Like the other guy said, Vita games don't have paper manuals. The manuals are actually built into the games and are readable on the Vita itself.Fragems wrote:I didn't notice they were missing the manual till I got home, but whatever.
There are a handful of games that are not compatible with the PS TV, due to using special features of the Vita. There are still quite a few games that do work with it though. Here's a pretty good list of what's compatible:

Re: Playstation Vita thread
Darn that sucks
. Hate that manuals are getting phased out.
Yeah I knew about the compatibility list before going in. So that's no biggy especially since the PSTV only cost me $40.
