I prefer to enjoy in gulps rather than sips. ;)
Also how normal is that my DS (lite) only last about 5-6 hours with a R4?
That's pretty normal as those flash carts are murder on the DS's battery life.

Oops, that's what happens when you don't check your grammar.

Well that's kind of a shame since one of the main reasons i wanted a DS lite was for better battery life but with the R4 lasts just as much as my 3DS. Well still i have docens of games in the SD.

I just thought it was a cool story. Most the time kids just learn how to beat up hookers and shoot cops in video games.

GSZX1337 wrote:The original StarCraft. I think it holds up pretty well. I'm not too knowledgeable about Real Time Strategy games; StarCraft and Empire Earth II are the only ones I remember beating. I've played StarCraft (obviously), the Star Wars RTSes, WarHammer 40K Dawn of War, Rome: Total War, a freeware game called Trash, Age of Mythology, and maybe a couple others I don't recall. With that laid out, I say that StarCraft is a killer RTS.
Oh I also think it holds up very well. Nothing like playing as the Marines and hearing the whir of those tanks set up in defensive position!

Personally I had more fun with the original than the sequel. By the time the sequel came around you couldn't just build some cool stuff and eventually attack online. Everyone had a specific build they tried to crank out as fast as possible and I don't think it was very fun at all. Basically everyone was trying to make it like the big Korean tournaments or whatever and it sucked the life out of the game for me. To buy a game and have to immediately research how best to play it (or simply get your ass kicked constantly) was a real downer for me.

Says Iwata: “A key term should be ‘wide and small’ rather than ‘narrow and large.’ The basis of our strategy will be how we can receive a small amount of money from a wide range of consumers."

That's right, the president of Nintendo discussing monetization strategies for their upcoming mobile games. How does this make you feel?

Like Nintendo is finally doing what everyone has been asking for them to do: modernizing.

I am not a huge fan of the mobile platform but I have endless faith in Nintendo to do the one thing they have always been good at: create quality software no matter the limitation of the hardware.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

It makes me feel that I was right when I said Nintendo's strategy with the Wii was a failure and the Wii was successful because of the novelty of motion controls and extremely low price at launch(half the asking price of a ps3).

But Nintendo fanboys hate me for saying this and will never acknowledge that Nintendo's strategy with the consoles is wrong even though all the numbers proves so.

As of March 31, 2015, the Wii has sold 101.52 million consoles worldwide.
It is the fifth best selling piece of game hardware in history, and the third best selling console. It is the best selling Nintendo console, and the third best selling Nintendo product, after Game Boy and Nintendo DS.

You are just as right as you are wrong. Nintendo did well in knowing there was a casual audience to court, and they did so spectacularly with the Wii. What Nintendo did not expect was for that same audience to migrate to mobile in the very next generation.
