First off, cool site Racketboy! Found it off a link from Digg.com

I'll tell you the consoles I currently have connected to my tv:
Xbox 360
Xbox
Gamecube
Dreamcast
Saturn (oh yeah!)

I have many games that I've bought over the years for my systems, but never had the time to play (either beacuse of grad school or life). I recently finished Zelda: Windwaker this past Christmas season. I bought it when it was released, played it, but didn't finish it then.

I want to go back to many of the games I've purchased and play them, maybe even finish them.

Anyways, keep up the good site!
=====================
I rather be playing video games.

Still, a very respectable collection! :)
That's actually more consoles than I have right now :)

It's a pretty humble collection at the moment:

Genesis
Sega CD
32X
Saturn
Dreamcast
PS2
Gamecube
NES
Gameboy
Gameboy Color

I squandered much of my teenage years trying to be a stupid goth wannabe, so I missed out on a lot of good stuff. I guess I'm trying to make up for lost time these days. :)

Telstar Marksman (pong) - Runs off a 9v!
2600 with A/V mod
NES
CDX, traded out my Gen w/ CD for it. Still have the SMS Power Base Convertor.
Turbo Grafx 16 with a busted CD-ROM
Saturn with modchip, RGB mod and racing stripes!
Playstation, somehow it was just left at my house after a party so I put a chip in and kept it.
Dreamcast
Playstation 2, using swap disc/knife trick

TurboExpress
GBA...pink no less, with TV-out attachment

Some of it was from local used game store that I knew the manager and got hooked up. Like the TG Express was $30 with 5 games and car power adaptor. Oh, I sold 4 of the five HuCards for $30 on usenet real fast.

As for cab's:

NeoGeo 4-slot
Converted Narc to NeoGeo FZ1 (1 slot) [selling]
Dynamo 24" 6-button with CPS2
Unknown 19" virt 2-player (for shooters!)
Converted Ataxx to CPS2 6-button [selling]
Homemade Supergun made from a suitcase, see link:

Some handhelds

Post by Ivo »

As far as consoles go I only have some older stuff. I do some PC gaming (actually there's a bunch of excellent stuff in computers that I think many die hard fans might miss out just because they are stubborn)

I started with an Commodore Amiga 500 which I still have.

I briefly had a Sega Megadrive (the Genesis in the U.S.) but didn't keep that.
I still have an Amiga CD32 (that is a weird controller design, by the way)

Got recently:
N64
Sega Saturn

Handhelds:
GBA
NGPC (a bit worn but works fine)
Waiting for a Wonderswan Crystal to arrive - got it very recently on ebay.

I definitively plan on getting a Dreamcast one of these days (when I settle down a bit with my Saturn)

I was thinking of getting a Gamecube but the fact that the Revolution will be backward compatible makes me think twice on that one (on the other hand, Cubes are sort of cheap, and there's the GBA functionality... I'm sort of expecting they'll make the DS work with the Revolution for the Cube games that use the GBA - what do you think, Nick?)

I'm also planning on convincing my cousin to give me his old Master System as he doesn't play anymore :P

I was thinking of getting a Game gear and/or an Atari Lynx as well, but I'm a bit reticent because of the batteries required and how short they last (I have rechargeable AAs, but 6 is a bit too much anyway).
