Me in full on rant mode yet again :lol:

I was really loving this game, but it falls apart towards the end, not just the puzzle design (not informing the player when they've picked up a piece of wire that they actually have THREE), but the story itself just gets really lame.

I'll say this though, episode 1 is great. I understand now some of the reviews praising episode 1 but being down on episode 2

It was funny to me because I've played adventure games in the past that started out great and then shit the bed with obtuse hints and outright bad puzzles. I know that feel bro.

It's such a hit and miss genre, because 1 or 2 bad puzzles can really kill the whole game.

Really interesting topic.

Mine is....Sonic '06. I beat Sonic's story, Shadow's story, and than i got to Silver's story. I played up 'till the part with the big 8 ball in his "ruins" level, and i just thought to myself: "Why on earth am i even doing this?"

I haven't came back to it since January, and i probably won't finish it.
Currently Playing: Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd (PS3)

@Gamerforlife

I've been into the adventure genre since the Zork days, and I agree the ones you posted above are great games. But I want to know if you've played any CiNG adventure games? They are fantastic, and are my favorites of the genre (if not of all time than at least in the past ten years). This is what they developed:

If you haven't played Hotel Dusk and its sequel Last Window, Trace Memory and its sequel Another Code R, you must do so ASAP.

Of the four I mentioned, Hotel Dusk is the slow burn. But stick with it, because the longer you play the more invested you become and the greater the experience becomes as more and more revelations are revealed.
