I haven't watched too much of the show, but I'm glad they at least do decently well at representing videogames. They are kind of rough on gamers at times, but they show the games themselves properly.Sano wrote:CSI: Cyber

Yeah, Justice League really took off in its second season, particularly during the amazing Starcrossed story arc. Then the show morphed into Justice League Unlimited and just reached unbelievable levels of awesome and occasionally even took on a bit more of an adult feel (a female cracking a joke about The Flash being the fastest man alive). And as a bonus, JLU even doubled as a continuation of Batman Beyond.darsparx wrote:I'm having trouble keeping up with it all ha ha. It is nice to have more of this stuff now
Talking about comic stuff I just discovered this was on netflix:
Freaking awesome, now if the other animated stuff from that era is on there I'll be happy. Missed watching this stuff. (if only that thing with disney and netflix meant things like ducktales, gooftroop, and rescue rangers was coming there too since they've neglected to add it to something like itunes)
I felt like JLU was the high watermark for DC animated shows, at least hand drawn shows anyway. Because Green Lantern the Animated Series was pretty amazing, but it went with a computer generated animation style. GLtAS drew levels of emotion out of the audience with some of its moments that are shocking in a kids animated show.
Now, I feel like that last truly great, non-Japanese, non-DC animated show we've seen on TV was probably Avatar. Korra was pretty good too, but not as great overall as Avatar was

Been keeping tabs on this,
Looking forward to it.LIMITLESS, based on the feature film, is a fast-paced drama about Brian Finch (Jake McDorman), who discovers the brain-boosting power of the mysterious drug NZT and is coerced by the FBI into using his extraordinary cognitive abilities to solve complex cases for them. Working closely with Brian in the major case squad in New York City is Special Agent Rebecca Harris (Jennifer Carpenter), a formidable investigator with a dark past, and Special Agent Boyle (Hill Harper), a former military officer and Rebecca’s confidante. They report to Special Agent in Charge Nasreen “Naz” Pouran (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio), a canny manipulator of the reins of power.
Unbeknownst to the FBI, Brian also has a clandestine relationship with Senator Edward Mora (Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, recurring), a presidential hopeful and regular user of NZT who has plans of his own for his new protégé. Fueled now with a steady supply of NZT that enables him to use 100% of his brain capacity, Brian is more effective than all of the FBI agents combined, making him a criminal’s worst nightmare and the greatest asset the Bureau has ever possessed. Craig Sweeny, Marc Webb, Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Heather Kadin, Bradley Cooper, Todd Phillips, Ryan Kavanaugh, Tucker Tooley and Tom Forman are executive producers for CBS Television Studios in association with K/O Paper Products and Relativity Television. The pilot was directed by Marc Webb (“The Amazing Spider-Man” 1 and 2 Feature Films).

Saw about 3 minutes of CSI Cyber last night. It was some of the most godawful tv I have ever witnessed. They called a Katana a "Katana Sword". Like, 5 times in that 3 minutes. Because, you know, the 60 year old audience of CBS doesn't know what a Katana is.

I love the original CSI episodes. The ones with William Petersen. Haven't watched Cyber yet.

I've been watching The Drunk and On Drugs Happy Funtime Hour and Highschool of the Dead. The former is kind of like Hunter S. Thompson meets Monty Python, except not quite that clever. The latter is not a very good show at all, but is full of violence and panty shots and sometimes I'm just a simple man. I'm also on the last episode of Better Call Saul which started out not so good but has managed to become decent.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
