1.76M with 30 Days to go. David Hayter is already in this beast too. That has to be a snub at Konami.

I'm tempted to back it with the hopes of getting the Xbox One physical copy. That or just pick it up for $15 when it shows up two years from now. Let's see if the bold strategy pays off, Cotton.

I'm in for $28. I really want that physical release though, so might change my donation.

Can't wait for this game!

I also don't think they couldn't have offered the physical console releases up front otherwise.

Also, think of it like the exact opposite of a paid advertisement. You are drumming up interest in a game that is already backed by investors, giving out pre-orders and advertising the game in a big way without having to pay a dime for it. Advertising is the toughest and most expensive part of video games and millions is pumped into it. Take those millions, put them into development and get even more money from glorified pre-orders.

NO doubt and I'm glad they did that too considering the treatment we saw in relation to him as well lately by that company too. Konami just needs to have someone stomp that last finger and let it fall off a cliff already.

Hmm, if they reach $2.25m, they intend to develop an "8-bit level." Interesting...

Inti Creates loves doing that with their games.

Unless it somehow flatlines AND doesn't get the classic end game (24-48 hours left) boost that not being made. Realistically speaking it's not that far off of it and considering the maker and pedigree I'd almost be shocked if it didn't.

I'm really glad I heard about this in time. I plan on chucking in $60 for that physical copy next week.

Normally I don't like to pre-order games, and I've never backed a Kickstarter before. But it's already far past it's goal, so there's no risk I can see of the game not being made. And the way I see it, I either pay $60 now to guarantee myself a physical copy, or risk paying $150 at least when some of the Kickstarter backers sell their copies on Ebay a couple years from now.

Or I could pay $28 for an inferior digital copy, but I'm willing to pay a little extra for the quality.

I'm debating if I should just get the physical copy or some ridiculous special edition of the physical copy with the artbook and stuff. Thankfully I have almost a month to decide.
