Famicom carts are very colourful. Blues, greens, whites, pinks, very cute.

Kawaii.

Random Cartoon Thoughts
I just realized what the hell happened to Teen Titans. They were attacked by this Chibi disease.

Is there a website/service where I can choose a game I want and it will notify me if it is on sale?

I have AppShopper on iOS and I got a lot of good offers(sometimes free!) this way

You would probably like Aquelarre, which is set in XIV century Spain and has fantastical creatures and magic based on the myths of the time. Sadly, it has never been translated, sorry.

If you put a Streets of Rage coat of paint on it people would say it was weak but only a few tweaks from being really good. Well ok, the Avalanche that chases you after stage 1 is ridiculous and maybe impossible but the beat em up parts seem almost there.

EDIT: ok so after I tried Cliffhanger I pressed my luck on movie licensed games and popped in Last Action Hero. Oh my god. How has no one destroyed this game on YouTube yet? Honestly I'm fucking appalled. Now keep in mind I haven't seen the movie, but put it this way: I doubt it involves someone who doesn't look like Arnold Scwarzenegger doing nothing but performing delayed punches and kicks, as well as a windmill motion with his arms every time he jumps. This game is an abomination.
Give True Lies a shot for a surprisingly good movie licensed game from that era. Honestly it might be my favorite game with Schwarzenegger as a playable character.

For Stallone, Demolition Man is a really decent action game.

You beat me to it. True Lies is a really fun SNES game.

EDIT:

Looking at screen shots, it actually bears some similarity to Hotline Miami:

I have to give ti another shot sometime soon.

I enjoy HG101's take on Last Action Hero.

True Lies I can enthusiastically recommend as a fine movie game. There aren't many out there!

There are probably as many "good" games as there are "bad" games, but with the exception of the Star Wars and Tron arcade games, I cannot think of any true classics that are based on movies.
