You're right, I should add more info to my games list.

3. It's Mr. Pants
2. Jeopardy!
1. Perfect Dark (Game Boy Color port)
5. Sesame Street teaches me about numbers. How could this not make the list?

4. Finally, the adults only tarot card simulator I have always wanted.

3. Even Rare employees raved about this one with great quotes like, ""We knew that it wasn't a big 'wow' game, but the playability was there."

2. Because Alex Trebek is just as sexy in pixels as he is in real life, and here he still has his mustache. What is 70s porno hairstyles?

1. It's totally just like the real thing!

At first I thought you just threw in random games as a joke. After seeing that Wiki list posted by Tanooki, Sneaky! Those are actual games developed by Rareware.

Yup Rare is well listed publicly for putting out some highly unpolished turds and other not fun things. People just tend to gloss over all that and focus on DKC and the N64 era because gamers can feel they have bragging rights to that. Same as how people these days try and grasp as straws how Rare is (but isn't anymore) great and tries to do this and that. Yet you have that game announcement the other day from all their old designers of their best stuff and look how over funded that was. You don't see that kind of cash or love thrown their way anymore.

This topic made me realize I don't really like Rare titles all that much. I was never fond of the DKC series (one hit deaths with no projectile weapon, no thanks), I always preferred SF2 over KI, and Griffey's Winning Run is awful. GoldenEye has not aged well. Can't speak to the rest of the N64 bunch as I haven't played them in at least a decade.

1. Saberwulf - GBA
2. RC Pro AM - NES
3. Goldeneye - N64
4. Donkey Kong Country - SNES
5. Knightslore - Speccy

Saberwulf is damn near perfection in a portable game. Puzzle platformer with race elements. Easy to pick up and put down. Maps completed in as little as 30 seconds as much as five minutes, you can 100% it in about two weeks of casual play. AND it has hundreds of throw backs to games that you have never heard of.

Man, I forgot Sabrewulf even existed. Definitely have to give that one a try... I have doubts that it can be better than Donkey Kong Country though.

@ KayJay - For an idea how to do a Thread starter maybe concentrate on one game? This brings actual discussion such as your Nuts Volts Thread. Here is a thread on Donkey Kong Country 3. Sooo much better then just a Thread full of replies of the same repeat game lists.

Yeah, i have actually googled this very question a while ago.

I wasn't really looking for a discussion post, i just honestly wanted to see what the general consensus was, among the RB community. :)

This is like whenever anybody wants to spend time praising Blizzard, so I bring up Justice League Task Force.

It's easy with Rare, they have a lot of pre-N64 turds in the closet.

This is probably the worst game I've played by the company:
