I figured you'd be the one to pipe up for some odd reason...I need to stop looking at this stuff, I'm scared to look in my archie comics that I've had to see what other games i want  I know klonoa, nights into dreams, and a few spyro games were mentioned in those...these inserts for games are my downfall right now ha ha  Though I was hoping you'd give a reason why I should like you usually do about other games ha ha

My Retron 5 came early, which is nice. Tested it with a bunch of stuff (Virtua Racing, fake Donkey Kong cart, Zelda cart missing five pins, weird japan only soccer game) and it handled everything exceptionally. Very pleased. The controller is comes with is bobbins but that doesn't matter too much.

Yeah, everyone will tell you "bring your own controller". That thing is just way too dang clicky, understand the thought process and I kinda like the way it looks but too loud for my tastes.

I would honestly still be using the Retron 5 controller if down-left didn't suddenly go out on it after playing for a couple of hours. Love the NGPC style stick, though the rest of the buttons and the sharp edges on the controller could definitely go away.

So I completed RE4, one of my dream games to play. A bit on the easy side but probably because of the Wiimote. Its a bit a let down especially on the story side, but that is probably because I am comparing a 10 year old game with 2015 (Seinfeld trope). The extras are seriously good, I think this is the first time you actually get something useful after you beat the game. 2 campaigns and an arcade game.

Now to complete the quadrilogy, even though I bought RE3 for like $1 on PSN, I will play my backup copy on the Dreamcast, just as a reason to play the Dreamcast itself. A lot of the games ported to newer generation consoles like Sonic Adventure

I wish my laptop could properly handle the Witcher 1. As it is I'll have to settle for a replay of Witcher 2 on my week off as prep for the third game.

Anyone else giving the series a replay before Witcher 3 drops later this month?

John Broomhall composer of Mechwarrior 3, UFO: Enemy Unknown and a bunch of other cool games will release a live version of the Transport Tycoon soundtrack! It's one of my favourite games of all time and probably the piece of media that had the deepest effect on me so this is a must buy for me. The fact that it sounds great helps!

I'd probably be replaying numero dos if my Xbox wasn't requisitioned by my roommate, but I doubt I'll have a PS4 until at least the fall, if not much later to play the 3rd.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they set up the story in a way that lets old fans get something out of save files on the PC, while still letting things be easily understood for new players. Witcher 2 was somewhat decent for new players, but the introduction of certain characters (Triss, Dandelion, the dwarf whose name I can't remember) were bad for new players.
