GT's Resident Evil Retrospective begins

Very impressive.

They did a good job covering all the versions of RE1. This shouldn't be confused with a character retrospective they did for Leon and Claire a while back, in anticipation of the recent CGI movie:

Yeah, that was good. I still find it hard to believe that RE and the remake were only one generation apart...

Ya know, I'd really like some official word on the reason for the director's cut dual shock edition having a completely different soundtrack. Clearly capcom didn't think much of it, because they ignored all of it, and instead remade the original score for the Gamecube remake.

Yeah I saw this last night. Again a fantastic job, much like most of their retrospective pieces. I'm surprised on how much information they dug out about RE 1.5 as well as the untagged video too. I haven't actually completed some of the older Resident Evil games so the video got me pretty excited for when I get around to playing them. I hope that talk some about Dino Crisis too, hopefully. :)

I dont understand capcom. Why dont they release 1.5 already? In any form. We dont care if its unfinished or buggy. I mean, what if they made it a preorder bonus for RE5? They could at least do it for PS3, since all models have PS1 support. They would make tons of free money that way.

I watched it, but I don't remember...did they mention the DC port of Resident Evil 2? They mentioned it for RE3, and the PC port for RE2, but...eh, just wondering.

Part 6 is out, and that's a wrap. 6 attempts to sum up the entire story of the series, and it does it with a ton of style. I was really impressed.
