Maybe PS1 classics, in that the data on the PSN is an ISO with some metadata so they'd just need to roll a PS1 emulator, which they already did to allow PS1 classics on the Vita.

Good point, I would suggest getting a Vita for this purpose why spend time, money and resources making it fit the PS4. From what I gather Vita emulates PSP excellent and the PSP emulates PS1 near perfect see how this works... Go Vita!!

I must say I'm not the vigilante voice against digital anymore primarily because I want the developers and such get as much profits as possible for their work, less shit to pollute our planet and from a savings perspective there are deals to be had.

At this time though I still prefer physical release as I'm collecting for the Vita but have no problem downloading PSone Classics, PSP and Vita games that are just not getting a physical.

On a side note I know I said stuff about saving the planet, but the Vita is an exception because they are so tiny. :)

I'm not going digital, however, i do enjoy the perks, like not having to change discs all the time, and not having to carry the games with you on trips. It certainly is more convenient.

I also like how if you buy a PS1 game on PSN, you can get it on all sony consoles. (PSP, Vita, PS3 & PS4)

Nah not going digital but there are advantages. Lots of good, cheap games. Plus some deals make it worth it too. When I was looking for the first few Phoenix Wright games it's hard to argue with paying $19.99 for the trilogy with HD graphics and being done with it in one fell swoop. I will never pay full price for a digital version of a boxed game though. Never.

I'm actually still a little foggy on the longevity of access digital provides but I know they make you sign terms and conditions applying to if you lose this, no longer supported etc etc they are not liable. However as far as Sony is concerned I have been able to fully access all my downloads with or with out Internet so this to me is pretty conviencing at keeping me cool about it.

There are just so many variables I think they just make you sign for it all. Sometimes MP is no longer supported or a game is no longer available to download so that's were they want protection mainly. Otherwise they are yours forever unless you have a system fail of sorts or delete the data, but again most downloads let you have them on multiple devices so if I wanted to I would back up my stuff on similar unit and preserve in case that happens.
