You should be asking, "What is in a Winter salad". Probably candied walnuts, lettuce, and cranberries.

!!!

Ricotta gnocchi. I have no recipe, probably need one, but wouldn't use it anyway.

I've been potato gnocchi since the first time I got to second base. Let me clarify, that was a long time ago.

No clue how this will turn out, but I figure gnocchi is mush, flour, egg, mix, boil. And then pan fry in a little butter with some fresh sweet basil.

Potatoes are full of starch, which I tend to believe makes gnocchi "work". Cheese...not so much. At least I'll learn something and experiments are fun. If it fails I have a few dollars in change so I can buy a hamburger.

Turkey burger w/swiss and fries with the hot Cheddar dip for the fries from fuddruckers plus a chocolate chip cookie. Mission project fundraiser and haven't been in awhile but fuddruckers turkey burger is amazing! Though a little overpriced for 12 with the drink and fries :-\ still good though

Just finished a smoothie that I make every morning for breakfast.
2 cups 2% milk
1 cup raw oatmeal
1 cup blueberries
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp natural peanut butter
2 scoops chocolate protein powder
I'm also watching Bizarre Foods. He's in Syria, just hanging out, eating some goat with "a sour yogurt sauce".

That sounds like a great night! I've had Coq au Vin a lot when I was a kid. So much so that I didn't know what it was as an adult when I saw a recipe for it, I thought it was one word like: cocoavon or something. I didn't question that it didn't make sense as a name, I was a kid!

Difficult to mess that one up. I believe Jacques Pepin and Julia Child share the same recipe. If you have the time to spare, try making it in a clay pot. Phenomenal.

For my troop I made weisswurst and Superkraut. For the kraut you start with around 1/4 cup of shredded sweet onion, one shredded McIntosh apple, and one shredded medium sized red potato. Then you add a 14.5oz can of shredded (not chopped) sauerkraut, a cup of beer (or water), a TBSP of caraway seeds, and cook on medium, while stirring, for about an hour. It's almost like a strudel filling, but not nearly as sweet. But this recipe has made plenty of my friends re-think sauerkraut.
