That article was dreadful, Pulsar_T. I'm not quite sure what to make of the writing style, or if there was anything that was really factual or presented new information. I was reading through the culture piece about departing employees half-expecting for the author to turn around and say it was all bullshit he made up.

Still not quite sure why the split is happening. Hopefully it's an amicable parting, and that Konami's franchises where Kojima was heavily influential don't turn to absolute shit.

The one thing I can sort-of agree with in that "article" was the idea that they're removing Kojima's name and production studio from the website to try and disassociate Metal Gear and Kojima since it's likely they're going to keep making more without him.

While it comes off as passive aggression I see it more as a thoughtless business decision.

The rift between famous developer Hideo Kojima and Metal Gear Solid publisher Konami was a big story when it was first reported and the fallout continues to claim victims.

I guess everyone saw that coming but I was hoping it wasn't. Even though I'm no survival horror fan I was excited to see what they could accomplish.

That's incredibly disappointing.

Konami is officially on Sudoku watch.

Unless they make some big moves, there's no way they'll live for even five more years longer.
