That's an.....interesting way to start gaming.

For me, mine was Sonic Jam on the SEGA Saturn. Though, considering that was a collection of the first four Genesis Sonic games, it was really Sonic The Hedgehog 2, IIRC. It was a fantastic game then, and it's a fantastic game now. I pretty much blame this game for not only my love of Sonic and SEGA, but also for my love for Sonic The Hedgehog 2 as a whole. :)

After this, I got an NES and an N64, so I mainly played Pokemon Stadium, and the Mario games. But Sonic Jam will forever be remembered as my first game.
This user really likes SEGA Saturn. Avoid at all costs.

Hm.....

even though i'm pretty young for this site (15 years old), i grew up on the older generations, and didn't get a true "next gen" system until i was, like, 7. I grew up on N64, Sega Saturn, & NES.

With that being said, my earliest memory of playing a game would probably be Sonic Jam on the Saturn, followed closely by NiGHTS into dreams, & Super Mario 64.

I also had a little plug & play with Namco games on it. First game i played on that was Mappy, and it was awesome.

I don't think it's an uncommon one. Pretty much everyone had this game at the time. They practically gave them away. It was one of my first games as well.

I've been racking my brain trying to remember, but I can't definitively say one way or the other. It's either the arcade version of Popeye, Pac-Man or Combat 2600, or SMB1 on NES.

Windows Solitaire.

I'm kidding, gotta be Super Mario World on SNES, or Super Mario All Stars, I truly cannot remember, but I was 3 years old, the console was my mother's and when she pulled it out one day I was done, an addiction was born.

The first one I clearly remember playing was Pitfall!

My family had an Atari 2600 and we had several games for it. I played Pac-Man, E.T. and one that was a compilation. However, the one that I remember the most as being the game I sat down and really played was Pitfall! I was really young, but I have a pretty clear memory of holding the controller in my hand and moving my character along.

I have the absolute vaguest memory of seeing/playing the classic Mario Bros. First game I ever owned, however, was SMB 3.
