Not at all. The Mass Effect games are third person shooters. The RPG elements give you special abilities or damage boosts on your damage/tightening up bullet spread.

I enjoyed ME 1 and 2, but for different reasons. The shooting action in ME1 is not super great, but the powers are fun. It's this weird hybrid of third person shooter, Neverwinter Nights, and MMO. That probably sounds frightening, but it works OK. The dialogue and choices are pretty good and the characters are mostly solid. ME2 is less RPG-like and more shooter-y, but the shooting action is good enough to be worth the change. Characters are still decently interesting.

Im want to emulate games on the laptop but hate the keyboard, im going to see if i can make the PS3 controller work on it.

Thanks, but i went with a youtube tutorial that explained all very well.

The controller works very well so far and it only took about 15 minutes to set all up.

Man I hate site maintenance's...only got to n64(procrastination of the night at it's best since it's 2:10 am) before backloggery went down...*sigh* I wonder if I'll ever get done so far I think I have close to 230 games on there...

Only 230? I have 775 and haven't actually listed a good chunk of my collection! But I have over 500 games completed. You will get there eventually, it's not impossible. It just seems daunting when you first get started.

Actually it's now at 365 now that the site is back up(though there may be some dups or stuff in wrong spots) and I still feel like i don't have anything to play sometimes...odd(I think it may be because I want to play something for the systems I don't yet personally have much for like n64, ps1, ps4, wii u and now dreamcast too). Which thinking about ps4 and wii u I really need to get zip ties of some sort that area is ugly with the current setup...

I reallly want to try 7 Days to Die, but its PC only, not sure if I could run it, and I have a feeling it won't be great to play with a controller. (Laptop probs)

That happens a lot when I order a game online. I can't stop thinking about that game and wanting to play it. I don't emulate it because I'm going to have the game soon and I want to play it "the right way." So I usually get hung up on the game until I finally get it.

I rented Naughty Bear from GameFly recently since I got a month for a dollar. I'm enjoying the game, but I have to wonder: Am I fucked up for feeling worse about killing these cartoony stuffed bears than I do killing realistically depicted humans in other games?

That happens a lot when I order a game online. I can't stop thinking about that game and wanting to play it. I don't emulate it because I'm going to have the game soon and I want to play it "the right way." So I usually get hung up on the game until I finally get it.

These so much...Especialy because I'm waiting on Bokujō Monogatari(Yes that's the original HM). So glad that I found a patch for it by r9 knowing that his work on the games I already have is great(especially with what we've mentioned of it in the r5 thread) I'm willing to bet it'll work. That 43 for CIB with shipping is a big difference vs that 150 tag it's been going for with NTSC...
