i happened to have a MD adapter for the SFC, and popped the ones not working in the wondermega to the SFC instead. it actually worked but i needed to change the region setting to 3 (i think that was PAL?) so confusing is that these all worked in a mega drive the original owner had. so perhaps the "not turning on" thing of the wondermega is some sort of region lock.theclaw wrote:I don't know. Japan's Mega Drive 1 however used its power switch as a "cartridge lock". It stopped unplugging a game while on, then later kept out most western games (exceptions include EA games, Sonic & Knuckles, or the 32X).
otherwise my wondermega might be just weirdly faulty.
