So what have you guys been watching lately?

I once read that spam e-mail messages are so obviously spam because the spammers don't actually want sophisticated people to respond to them. (If that happened, the spammers would be more likely to get caught.) Rather, the spammers would prefer that the dumbest, most naive people respond because they are the people who will actually be duped and they are the people least able to report the spammer to authorities once they have been duped.
Are you secretly a guy I work with here in Bellevue? Because I just had that exact conversation with him yesterday about spammers.
Yep! Gotcha!

You done been catfish'd!!!!

You start the season thinking Danny is the worst of the 6 main characters. You leave the season thinking he was probably the best (kindest, most thoughtful) and a series of mistakes, both good and bad intentioned, have consistently left him on the losing end of life - until he's ultimately killed, in cold blood, by the person who appears to be the most moral and straight-laced. I really enjoyed the show.
Started watching DareDevil after all the early hype. It's warranted. Darn good show. Good acting (Eldon Henson is a little annoying though). Good storyline, decent banter, and very cool (gruesome) fight scenes. My only gripe is the fighting is too dark. Not dark/creepy, but dark/it's-too-dark-I-can't-see-what's-happening-turn-some-light-on-cameraman-dark.

Also watching Parenthood for something lighter. Started out, "meh, it'll pass muster for mindless stuff before bed" to..."hey, this is pretty engaging and not overly stereotyping everything, I might dig it a bit!"
Doesn't it make you wonder how they are going to continue with the show? It feels like a completed story to me. Not to mention
Danny was so important to the storyline.
I think it was perfect as a one off, but they needed to make some changes if they wanted a successful continuation. I'm still optimistic though, since the writing was pretty great.

Arrow's starting to lose its mojo a bit, this last episode...blech

Tempted to watch the remaining leaked episodes of Game of Thrones, first two episodes have been really good

Lucha Underground...damn, don't know how people still watch WWE's brand of garbage with a wrestling show this good on TV

This is ECW levels of groundbreaking awesomeness. And finally a wrestling promotion that doesn't treat women as a joke or ignore them entirely:

Oh, I def. think there'll be a season 2 and I think it'll be really good:
granted, i'll miss Mendohlson, he was excellent. The son coming at the end there though will be a huge arc. Will John mentor him? Try to hide things from him? Who saw John and Kevin in Danny's apartment - we see someone w/a "Rayburn House" shirt on watching them leave after the dumped the drugs. Also, the detective was a strong actor and he'll def. be digging in and putting heat on the crew all season.

Then there's Marco (meg's ex) - he was strong too and his character can evolve into the hero, or he can develop some demons of his own.

I think it can go a few ways and can be very good. Though yes, it could def. be a successful one-year show.

For sure some good points there, I suppose they still have a lot of territory to explore. I definitely look forward to it. The Netflix originals are pretty strong this year. It is really becoming a viable "channel" and if they keep the high quality originals coming I would be happy paying a little more. They are on my short list with A&E and FX.

Watched the first episode of Daredevil. Pretty good overall, looking forward to more.

Also, went back and watched a few episodes of Justice League: Unlimited. I loved the original show, but this one... there's a lot more political jabs in there, and it makes the experience less enjoyable overall. I do like the core conceit of featuring the B-tier heroes, though.

Still working on Daredevil. On ep 7 as of tonight. REALLY glad they decided to make a 2nd season, even though that wasn't in the original plan. Cannot wait for the other 3 series and the Defenders mini-series. This gonna be fun!

Binged Daredevil a few days back and blew through the 13 episodes that are up. Decent show, but it could have been better. Maybe things will get better in season 2. Matt just spent way to much time pondering if he was doing things for the good of the city or if he just liked kicking ass in the second half of the season  . Was also disappointed with the legal side of the show I was hoping for some more court action. The show over all was pretty good though and the action was great even if some scenes could have used a little better lighting as others have mentioned.

Season 2 should be pretty good a lot of loose ends left to be tied up and Matt seems to have finally gotten out of his emotional slump by the end of the season.

Wow. I just watched an action sequence on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. tonight that felt like it came right out of John Wick :o

May be the best action sequence I've seen on this show.
