Your most hour-logged games
Re: Your most hour-logged games
There was also a period of time when every single morning at work while taking a dump, I'd play the 9-hole Part 3 course on Mario Golf Advance Tour. I estimate ~15 minutes per dump, for at least 4 years. So that's likely another 200+ hour game. Lotta shits taken at that job.

Destiny: 235 Hrs
Battlefield 4: 99 Hrs
Borderlands 2: 80 Hrs
Team Fortress 2: 72 Hrs
Battlefield Bad Company 2: 71 Hrs
Borderlands The Pre-Sequel: 23hrs
Pinball FX: 23 Hrs
RPG's would also be up there, but no idea on 'official' times for those.
I honestly think the THPS games would be 100+ each for the first three, THPS1 and 2 I finished with each character 100% (Though I only did all gaps on both with Tony Hawk) and I 100% 3 (but not with all characters).

Re: Your most hour-logged games
Some of these are estimates and some I cannot even comprehend:
- Tetris & Dr. Mario = Thousands of hours. I play that with a friend I see every Saturday night and that is the first game we play.
- Streets of Rage 2 = Hundreds as I cannot count the amount of times I have beaten it.
- Super Smash Bros. = Thousands. I found out you can kill somebody over 1000 times.
- Legend of Zelda - ~150 Hours. I have beaten both quests at least a dozen times.
- Final Fantasy Tactics - ~125 Hours. It stops counting when you reach 99 Hours.
- Disgaea 1 & 2 = 100 Hours for both.
- Final Fantasy X = 1000 Hours. I have a save file that is at least 1000 hours and several other save files that I have played throughout my day.
- Final Fantasy X-2 = 120 Hours or so.
- Final Fantasy XII = 140 Hours and that was just beat every hunt and summon.
And there are probably so many more that I cannot imagine or count.

Skyrim: 359 hours
Fallout 3: 225 hours
Fallout NV: 202 hours
Borderlands 2: 172 hours (I should be playing with you guys)
Borderlands: 118 hours
SW KotOR: 80 hours
Mass Effect: 69 hours
Space Pirates & Zombies: 65 hours
Saints Row III: 57 hours (thought this number would be higher)
Deus Ex: HR: 48 hours
I know Morrowind and Oblivion would be on this list if I had acquired them more recently and on Steam, but as they are on disc, and I got them not recently, they are absent.
So if there's one thing we know, it's that I'm Bethesda's bitch. Beyond that I think things mix a lot more nicely.

Borderlands 2 - 277 hours
Mario Kart 8 - 77 hours
Saints Row The Third - 73 hours
Sleeping Dogs - 61 hours
Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete - 52 hours
Super Mario 3D World - 50 hours
Portal 2 - 40 hours
Super Mario Galaxy - 32 hours
Saints Row IV - 30 hours
So says the logs.
I can't even imagine how much time I've spent playing Smash Bros. Melee, Super Mario World, or Yoshi's Island over the years.

Re: Your most hour-logged games
Here are my top 10 games in Steam. I'm sure I have some retro titles that could compete with these, but I wouldn't even be able to fathom a guess on most of those titles.
130 hrs - Rocksmith 2014
111 hrs - Rocksmith
100 hrs - LEGO Batman: The Videogame
99 hrs - Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box
68 hrs - Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
65 hrs - Assassin's Creed II
63 hrs - Grand Theft Auto III
54 hrs - BioShock
46 hrs - BioShock 2
42 hrs - Assassin's Creed
I play both bass (passably) and guitar (rather poorly) which accounts for the Rocksmith log time on both titles.
My kids love LEGO Batman so that figure includes my own 100% completion stats along with all the time they've logged with the game.
Burnout Paradise is another game enjoyed by both my kids and me, so that's another one where my 100% completion is lumped in with their play time.
I'm slowly working my way through the AC and Bioshock series and that shows heavily here.
Lastly I thought it was funny that GTA III made the list, being that I just got done playing through that one (with 100% completion for the first time. Yay!)

Forgot this one! My Rocksmith '14 total is pretty high as well. Though I am still probably "poor" at both instruments.nullPointer wrote: 130 hrs - Rocksmith 2014

How/why? Is this more than one playthrough or were you maxing out character stats?Cronozilla wrote: Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete - 52 hours

I have no idea, I remember just casually playing through it, but that was the time index on my save file when I looked at it a week ago.BoneSnapDeez wrote:How/why? Is this more than one playthrough or were you maxing out character stats?Cronozilla wrote: Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete - 52 hours
Re: Your most hour-logged games
I've maxed out the clock at 99:99 in Final Fantasy Tactics more than once too...BoneSnapDeez wrote:I don't play MMOs and the like, so lengthier single-player RPGs would be at the top of my list. Dragon Quest VII, VIII, and IX come to mind immediately.
Oh and with all the replays it wouldn't surprise me if I have sunk more than 150 hours (each) into Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, EarthBound, and Ys I & II.
Re: Your most hour-logged games
Well, I'm not sure what my top ten are, exactly how many hours I've put into each of these games are, or which ones I've played more often. But Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Metal Gear Solid 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, Kingdom Hearts, and Kingdom Hearts 2 have all easily stolen hundreds of hours a piece from me. I can't think of any other single player games in all my life that I've played as many times through as those eight games. I've played through each one a minimum of four times. Some of them, such as Dark Souls, are easily more around nine or ten times.
But, to quote my Steam statistics, there is one game that trumps all of those. Team Fortress 2, at 1,130 hours total. God damn you Valve.
