great deals forum

Post by aaron »

can we just have a new section for all of the "HOLY SHIT LOOKIT WHAT I GOT AT SALVATION ARMY FOR ONLY 38 CENTS SIX COPIES OF PHANTOM 2040 FOR GAME GEAR ALL CIB AND TWO OF THEM ARE SEALED" posts? approximately 25% of all of the posts in the whatever forum seem to be of this ilk, which i think is more than enough to constitute a forum.

just a suggestion.

that said, my roommate just sold me complete copies of magna carta, killer 7, and guilty gear xx accent core for ps2 for $30.

Seems like a good idea to me, but a section devoted solely to bragging about great deals may not be able to support itself.

I just started a thread for this. Hopefully people won't ignore it.
signature temporarily offline due to fixed width constraints and anger

I think a sub forum for great deals that are out there on retro (or modern games) either for the real thing or on some sort of online distribution service E.G. Steam, GOG, XBLA etc would be much better.

In fact when I saw this thread I thought that's what it would be about. I find those threads much more useful and beneficial than some lucky git that's just got Bargain of the Century™.

Yep. That's so useful to me. Thank you. Because I live in the US. Thank you. Read my location, please. It's right there, it's not hard to miss. Try and read before being a smart-ass.

He wasn't being a smartass. I don't think CAG is USA exclusive. What's wrong with it?

Yeah cause before this i wasn't sure.

but seriously....there are far too many "look what I found" threads. Maybe a simple "Great Finds" sticky will remedy this?
