no joke. I added this to my Steam wish list with the intention of waiting to see what you said about it. Glad to see it's a port worth picking up.the7k wrote:Review of KOF02 on Steam

Ha ha, thanks man, glad my opinion means that much.noiseredux wrote:no joke. I added this to my Steam wish list with the intention of waiting to see what you said about it. Glad to see it's a port worth picking up.the7k wrote:Review of KOF02 on Steam
It's barebones as far as extras go - really disappointed to see some of the stuff from the PS2 version missing - but the base game is possibly my favorite KOF (02UM - not vanilla 02) and the netcode has been good enough that I've found friends in game that I can then play against, as opposed to finding them on forums and then playing them.

Re: Hardcore Report - Latest: Elevator Action Returns (Satur
Elevator Action Returns is really amazing.
For me personally it's the closest I can get to another Rolling Thunder game with its jazzy look and feel.
I've got this one on the Taito Legends 2 pack since I don't have a Saturn.

I still need to try out that collection. I've heard the emulation of EAR is less than ideal, but anything is better than nothing, for sure.Gunstar Green wrote:Elevator Action Returns is really amazing.

Well, I say that but I also bashed that Waku Waku 7 port on Saturn - but I'm sure the emulation was no where near as bad as that.
Re: Hardcore Report - Latest: Vampire Savior (Saturn)
Vampire Savior on the Saturn. I can't even remember what I said with this one, I doubt it's anything insightful, probably just mindless gushing because it's one of my favorite games of all time.
I'll be doing a lot of old games until I can get my PC fixed up. As soon as I do, I plan to start balancing out the old stuff with new stuff.

I'm always reluctant to click on these because you do an effective job getting me to add yet another game to my Saturn wishlist (which is like 30 games now... sigh)
Nice job as always

Don't worry, I'll get around to reviewing some bad Saturn games eventually. =P
