Hidden away in the Earth lie some of mother nature's finest works of art...

To me, this looked like brush strokes of sky and stone

Our guide called this "woman in the wind"

Strangely, there was snow in the desert in April.


A white frosted landscape.


Higher up the mountain was even more snow. The immense Dead Horse Point is buried in white fog off in the distance of the picture below, completely invisible from the lookout. It was an eerie feeling to walk to the cliff's edge and know that there was a giant hole where only white haze could be seen. I threw a snowball and listened to the unexpected silence.
