I for some reason remember fairly well that Squaresoft back in the 90s did more than just the FF3 SNES soundtrack as they had this catalog. I can't seem to find a copy of that though using google, probably might if I knew the name of it.
Anyway I found a copy of Kefka's Domain today locally for a steal since disc 1 was scratched up, which I fixed with Novus mostly. I forgot how nice this was as I had it 20 years ago, but I could have sworn that FF2(4) got the treatment as well. I know Secret of Mana did not, I ended up importing that a few years later in the upper mid-90s.
Anyone have any memory of this or maybe have it? I'd like to track it down, still prefer FF4's music.
FF3(SNES-US) Kefk'a Domain 3CD set, others?
Re: FF3(SNES-US) Kefk'a Domain 3CD set, others?
I had my parents import Kefka's domain for me for my birthday in 96 or 97. Great soundtrack. Over on RPGfan I want to say that while listening to their music podcast there was mention about a remastered release of FF4, 5, and 6 just recently.
I sold my copy of Kefka's domain about 8 years ago on ebay for about $55 in very used condition. I loved how the disks were all different colors. Disk three being pink.
AFAIK there was no FF4 release of anything like that. Of course now there are a few collections you can buy but not back then. Same with Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger.
Let me know what you turn up!

That's my own back glass for Gold Ball. I bought it a month ago on St Patty's day. The only pinball table ever with a gold (brass) ball other than a very very old EM style with the same title. It's a fast table, fun, it's like an EM without all the nightmarish gears and switches to go wrong that aren't made anymore.
I know there was the FF4-5-6 US releases of the audio tracks with the white slip covers and the modern/japanese 'title art' with naming on it. I had 4 and 5 once. I could have sworn there was a FF4 CD and if not that, something else around the time of FF6 maybe Secret of Evermore?

Funny because I was listening to Secret of Evermore just this week on youtube. If memory serves me it Jeremy Soule who does the Elder Scrolls music. God I love Morrowind. Anyway yeah - I think Secret of Evermore did get USA release - it's the cover seen on the youtube OSTs. The one with the half dog head and human chin. Insanely good OST.
