Massive Genesis Haul

Post by molotovwars »

Got a massive Genesis haul on Craigslist today. Sega Genesis (Model 2) with hook-ups and one controller and 23 games complete in the boxes, and all but two had manuals. Punisher, Castlevania, and Earthworm Jim were great finds, but what might even be better is that very few of the games were duplicates, which is saying something with over 100 Genesis games in my collection. Heres the list:

Revolution X
X-men
Lethal enforcers gun fighters 2
The Punisher
Chakan
Castlevania Bloodlines
Hook
Mortal Kombat
The Adventures of mighty Max
Awesome Possum
Earthworm Jim
Pink goes to Hollywood
Boggerman
Taz Mania
Aladdin
Tiny toon Buster hidden Treasure
Sylvester and Tweety in cagey capers
The Juggle Book
Asterix and the great rescue
Cool Spot (no instruction manual)
Dark water (no instruction manual)
Primal Rage (cardboard box, but still CIB)
NHL all-star Hockey 95 (cardboard box, but still CIB)

The only duplicates out of all those games were Mortal Kombat, The Adventures of Mighty Max, Aladdin, and X-Men, and since Mortal Kombat and X-Men were just cart only I get to upgrade my collection. I've also got Bloodlines, but its PAL and called "Castlevania: New Generation." I might have Earthworm Jim cart only too, but I'll have to search.

All for only $60! w00t!

Chakan, Aladdin, and Taz Mania are some kick ass games!

Taz-mania is pretty freakin' hard though, the damn mine level screwed me up all the time.

I think it's safe to say that Revolution X is the centerpiece of that collection.

That's practically worth it just for Punisher and Castlevania alone. Chakan sure didn't age well though.

Nice! Makes me a little jealous...i've pretty much stopped collecing new games unless I can trade for them. Mostly because i have no space or extra cash. I switched to buying recording gear which is even more expensive! But every once in a while i'll scope out craigslist and have to keep myself away from looking for games because I know I'll find something I want.
