I especially love the old white glow of vintage vector and raster graphics like Asteroids or Space Invaders when overlayed on a hand-drawn backdrop. Doesn't this kind of image just make you smile? There's something about a game like that. It's a crude machine that relied more on the humanity of the drawings around it to give it sci-fi authenticity, though at the same time, there are few game characters as simple and recognizable as the pixelated Space Invaders aliens. It's really just brilliant.
Funny you should mention that.
This is my current obsession. By the way, it's a pain in the butt to photograph a display projected onto a mirror.
The steering wheel is required unfortunately. That's probably one of the reasons it was left out of the Flashback and not licensing since Sega is chummy with At Games.
If there's a second model Flashback in the works hopefully they've made a workaround for this.

Love the alternate approach! I actually have an overside keyboard so I can play some games true to the button spin and thrust as in the Arcade. Try these cabinets.
