Ha, if you were going to slam the worst ones, you'd mention Wind Waker first and foremost. Then Spirit Tracks, and Phantom Hourglass. You would not mention Twilight Princess. (I can not attest to Skyward Sword because despite owning it for years I haven't played it yet.)

I agree with Mr.Popo here. Ocarina was pretty good but it's not the gold standard Zelda game by a mile. IMO in 2D that'd be A Link To The Past, in 3D that'd be Twilight Princess. (Maybe A Link Between Worlds is the best overhead Zelda now, I haven't played it yet although yes I own it.)

I don't know about the others, but Twilight Princess was a great GameCube game. It needs no apology.
Oh irixith, always taking the opportunity to slam the worst Zelda entries. Why you gotta be like that, why can't you just let it rest? ;)

I'll make a small concession so as not to derail -- ALttP is to ALBW as OoT is to TP, with the major difference being that ALBW succeeds and TP fails dismally. One of these days I'll do a write-up on just why I feel that way (and defend why I'm totally right about it ;) ), but not in this thread since it's not 3DS related.

The only DS entry worth playing is ALBW, it really is worth picking up.
I want you to cut the shit and write an essay on why The Faces of Evil is the greatest Zelda game.

HERETIC! Wind Waker was by far the best made masterpiece of 3D Zelda games. I get there are some art snobs that still whine about Links eyes and then others who are lazy and don't like the boat mechanics (which I enjoyed) but I guess some people want everything easy and spoon fed.

Tingle's not the issue there.

Actually Tingle is the ONLY issue there. If you had a problem with the triforce hunt, that's just being lazy. It wasn't hard in the least bit. You just change the wind and go, then go for the piece.

The problem I have with the Triforce hunt has nothing to do with me being lazy. It has to do with the developers being lazy actually.

And that's not my only issue. Wind Waker is a flawed game for many reasons.
