I'm really into Daredevil so far too. Love that each episode is a full hour (not full hour minus commercials) so it also lends to the feeling of an HBO/SHO-type program. I'm also liking the way the blend in the origin story with flashbacks, giving us a backdrop for his current evolution. Seems like a lot has happened and I've only watched 2 episodes so far. Also feels very grounded. I thought it was interesting that it seems to take place after Avengers and Matt is still getting his feet wet with the superhero thing.

Still loving iZombie as well and each week I'm looking forward to a new ep.

Agents of SHIELD is in a really interesting place right now with Skye and I don't think any of the story arcs are uninteresting. Seems like the FitzSimmons relationship is on the mend which makes me happy.

Sleepy Hollow is ok, I'm about halfway through Season 2. I think John Noble's character is what makes that show watchable, he's such a good add to this show. I hope he's in for awhile. There are several annoying characters and when they focus on John Noble it is for the best.

The Blacklist is great, I don't know if any of you here watch it, but it's very consistently good. Not usually a fan of Spader, but he fits his character so well. The overarching story is very intriguing.

That's how The Arrow handled it as well (loved the first two seasons of that show, starting to get tired of it in the third though). It's really effective. It keeps the episodes moving and allows them to get right into the action without having to deal with the first season of the show just being completely bogged down by origin exposition.

The Flash went a the more traditional route but that worked out well too so far by making the "rookie" Flash integral to the time travel plot it's telling. I really like The Flash a lot, probably because it's bright and optimistic and super-heroic while everything else is dark and vigilante based.

All-in-all I'm finding super hero TV these days more interesting than the films.

I started binging on Daredevil last night and finished with episode 6, which was a good breaking point in the narrative. One thing I've noticed is they do a lot of stuff you wouldn't be able to get away with on network TV, such as visible broken bones and other fairly gory stuff.

Love Daredevil because the action is a third plausible..kinda, and the other two thirds reminds you are watching a comic character, so lighten up.

The call backs to childhood are not, by any means, just there to "be there". They're cherries actually as they aren't needed but add to the story in ways unexpected.

Not placing a crown on this as some shows tend to start strong and fizzle, but I like how this shows a bit of fan service, but is also attracting people who are very skeptical. I mean, people ask "Seriously, Daredevil?". At the same time the writers are still figuring out their target audience, even with what I think is already a complete season.

In my eyes this is a show writers dream to work for, or at least punch the script. It appeals to the masses in a good way, and although it will piss off K Smith fans for more than a few reasons, it at least gives Kevin more podcasts to post about a show he doesn't make that will generate him revenue. And I'm not saying that is a bad thing, and I'm sure Kevin will say a ton of great things about the show.

Yeah, I thought that too. That Oldboy scene has inspired quite a few shows and movies.

Now, here's yet another awesome sequence, not a fight though. More like epic parkour:

Thinking of watching "Bucky O'Hare" since it turns out I like the NES game.

Also, waiting for the third season of Willam's Beatdown on YouTube. Fresh off of a successful Kickstarter (where Willam Belli raised over $55K out of $10K), drag personality Willam Belli spends each episode watching internet videos (mostly makeup tutorials, among other things) and promises to "help [viewers] be better through the faults of others".

One of my favorites is the thirteenth episode of Season 2, where Belli critiques:

* Magical Rainbow Sponge with Dee Gruenig
* Live footage of Aretha Franklin
* Donna Mills' "The Eyes Have It"
* Videos of older female escorts (or are they prostitutes?), including one that Willam says looks like "Jane Lynch if she was a prostitute while having leukemia".
