Key-Glyph, I recommend the Echo Night series. They are games played from first person perspective, involving protagonists who enter into isolated areas and must help ghosts to pass on. Many of the spirits are benign, but under certain circumstances they become aggressive, during which time they can attack by forcing the protagonist into cardiac arrest. There is no health bar, but dally too long in an area with a hostile ghost, and you will die. All hostile ghosts are potentially lethal, and the game will sometimes force you to run into their areas to pass through or solve puzzles while trying to avoid them.
As far as horror games are concerned, I find these rather soothing, and I think you will too. There is definite tension when playing them, but you also know when you are completely safe and can relax, which makes the tense moments that much harder to deal with.
