Yes. I totally get preferential treatment, but decent service and getting your butt kissed are two separate things. Some GameStop employees have given me games for free and call me when games are below cost. I don't expect it, welcome it, but certainly wouldn't be pissed if I thought I was a "preferred customer".

I haven't either, but logically, they hold games to some extent - they'll transfer them from other locations, for instance, and will hold when they do that. I think it's just supposed to be a time limited thing. Probably similar to preorders, which were cut down to what, three days? I remember them selling the Bioshock CE I preordered by the time I was able to swing by on Friday - to their credit, they transferred one in from another store, so I still got it, but it was the last time I preordered anything from them.

Yeah I believe they are allowed to do 24 hour holds or at least that is how long the Pick Up At Store option reserves the game for if you use it on their website. Think you are supposed to be limited to reserving one game a day but I've managed to reserve 3 at a single location that way.

I asked my local GS dude to get 'em, and he did with no issues. I guess I'm lucky. Same hing with Eternal Darkness I called my local GS manager asked "can you get this CIB?" and he's call a few days later with "got it".

I had a pierced ear....but I draw the line at wearing a cloak. That's tribal tattoo stupid.

It's probably that both sides are assholes. My suspicion is that people being assholes brings out Luke's asshole, and before you know it we're all covered in shit.

Just use the pick up at store option online, they'll hold anything for ya for 48hrs.
