Re: Old games/series that need to be remade/revived
Easy answer;
PaRappa The Rapper.
It's not likely in the slightest, since the series didn't particularly sell well, and the fact that PaRappa's VA stole like, $100 from some college kids, but I'd love to see a new game in this series, simply because it's my absolute favorite IP that Sony has a hold of right now. It's got an odd, quirky, weird vibe to it that makes it stand out from other games, and I love the gameplay of it (though, PaRappa The Rapper 2 dumbed it down significantly). I'd be all over a new PaRappa; I'd even buy a PS4 if a new PaRappa was announced.
I'd also love a new Crash Bandicoot. That seems more likely, but with Activision not doing anything with the series for the past 5-7 years......Yeah, I want a new Crash. Bad.

This user really likes SEGA Saturn. Avoid at all costs.

I'm still hurting for a new MechWarrior. Yeah there's an online game but it's not the same as those awesome single player campaigns set in the Battletech universe.

I think the Ballz series needs to be revived in 4D! They can add the time dimension, where if you attack and the other person blocks, you can rewind and do a low attack instead. And then they can rewind and block low, and then nobody wins, because you're playing Ballz, so both players are losers already.

Still holding out for an official crytek UK timesplitters revival. The fan-made re-make is gonna be done by 2019 at this pace. Apparently TS4 was 90% done when free radical shut down. Shame.
Sega Genesis (Model 2), Sega CD, Sega 32X, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Game Boy Family, Phillips CD-i Model 910, NES, Atari 5200, Virtual Boy, Atari Jaguar, Playstations 3-4

Actually, Marathon needs to be revisited. The Marathon series was a story-driven FPS made in a time one didn't mix story in with an FPS. I would really love to see the game reimagined through a more modern lens. The fundamental story ideas are still sound. Of course, in some ways the story might seem to share little tidbits with Halo, because Bungie recycles the hell out of their own material.

I would love a new Shining Force game that's like the first three games. Actually, Sega is sitting on a lot of stuff that I wish they would actually do something with, especially sequels. I would love to see a new Golden Axe, Alien Syndrome, Altered Beast or Space Harrier.

Did someone mention Smash TV? I agree, but only if it's a tie-in for a feature film adaptation.

Re: Old games/series that need to be remade/revived
I think if I could have anything, it'd be a third game in the Hotel Dusk / Last Window series. I'd prefer it to still be on DS. The series deserves to be a trilogy, and to wrap up a few loose ends with Kyle's story.
If not that, than a 3DS or Vita game in the Gargoyle's Quest series vein. Except I don't trust modern Capcom to not screw that up, so maybe not.

F-Zero. There's three different ways I think you could work it and I wouldn't mind any one of the three ways.
1: Tried and true HD remake, pure arcade racer, 30+ online with over the top courses and an enhanced story mode. Nintendo/Sega made all these characters and have effectively done nothing with them in a decade.
2: That being said, would love to see a non-racing F-Zero game that is almost similar to Burnout Paradise meets Grand Theft Auto V, make an open world (or dare I say open universe) F-Zero game with Captain Falcon as the protagonist, doing missions for bounty and occasionally entering races and such, slowly developing a storyline and chemistry with other racers. It'd be a blast to play and I could easily see it being an hour sucker if done right.
3: Finally, a little mixture of the two, but instead of an open world style game, maybe more of a simulation racer. Think F-Zero meets Forza/Gran Turismo. I would love to go under the hood of a machine, build it from the ground up, increase it's aerodynamics, G-Diffuser, what have you, and just make a machine my own. Then go racing on incredibly beautiful courses. Add in a damage system, maybe a license or career mode, and race with the likes of Captain Falcon in the Grand Prix.
Really I just want to see a new F-Zero game, I don't care if it's an HD upscale of GX, I'd buy it.
