Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Hi, I've been a lurker for awhile and have already posted in a few threads.
I am from Austin, TX.
I'm on a fighting game kick again after almost 10 years of staying away from the genre. It's interesting this time around. Now I'm in my 30s so my reflexes aren't what they used to be but I feel like I learn the games faster. Oh and I have enough disposable income this time around to buy decent hardware to play on (full blown joysticks, etc).
The Dreamcast remains my most played console.
I also have a PS2/1 and Saturn. I recently sold my PSP.

My name is Frank, 29 Data Tech from NJ. Been into gaming since I was young. My grandfather used to work for Atari in the 70's and 80's So he always had fun stuff. I got my 1st NES in 86 and haven't looked back. I recently finished my game room in my new house and moved all my systems and games over from my parents place where it sat for 6 years. Ugh. Having a blast playing old fav and new games. Been picking up lots of good stuff on Craigslist, Ebay and the local pawn shops.
I like Mario Games, Zelda Games and most 2d games.
other interest is Cars and Car restoration. Really into VW's
Systems NES, SNES, Atari 2600 Black, Atari Jaguar, GameCube with Gameboy Player, N64, Dreamcast, Wii, Gamboy and Gameboy Color

Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Hi everybody !
First excuse my bad english, i'm french.
Wath's a french guy doing here ? I can't find what i'm searching for in France, so i try to find it at source.
I havn't a big collection, i've sold a big part of mine, i need money to buy a arcade cabinet and few games with it.
Actually, i'm the happy possessor of :
- Boxed : Collecovision, Schneider Telelude, Nes action set, Nes control deck, Snes pack SFII tbo, Snes pack marioworld, Amstrad GX4000, N64 pack Mario64, Superfamicom, Atari 2600 black and another woody, Mastersystem 2, Mégadrive 1, MD II (pal and jap), Game Cube Tales of Symphonia, Famicom and it's disk system, PSOne and two, XBox, Gameboy advance and micro.
- Unboxed : N64 jap, MD1 jap, Atari 7800, PSX, few Game'n Watches.
Maybe i fergot some...
And about 300 games...
Actually i'm searching for MVS games (Garou MOTW, Twinkle Star Sprites, Blazing Star,...) and few American games (a SNES, Final Fantasy 1). I think that Shipping costs for a cab would be so expansive...
Hope to see you...

Hello!
I've been a Racketboy lurker for a longtime. I even bought stuff years ago from the store I still use. I'm big into retro gaming collecting, on the condition that it's all done locally, with Craigslist being an acceptable method.
I love to tinker, hack, etc. all the consoles and such. My goal now is to get them all hooked up and working, which should be interesting

Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Well my name is Hunter and im 20 years old. Most of my brain energy is either focused on gaming of some sort or trying to figure out ways to make more moneys. I just recently discovered that me and shmups were meant for eachother where as up till a few months ago I had never even played one. I also enjoy 16bit platformers and 2d fighters. I wouldnt consider myself a collector although I really like the idea of having a massive library of games. Lastly, I use this website as the ultimate retro gaming resource.
LONG LIVE RACKETBOY.

Newbie here. I like to play on my Wii during my free time and I like to surf the net. Playing chess online is also one of my hobby. I like playing against players from different countries. And I also am a regular in a Miami Heat blog.
It's nice to be here and I hope to be around longer if my time permits.
Cheers.
