There is, in fact, a thread for this. I just don't remember where it is... We made fun of it for looking exactly like the Jaguar (and also a dental camera that also stole the Jaguar mold.)

 I thought this was an april fools but here's old porno arms himself Gamster81 backing it. Tough market to crack, wish them some luck, but I think projects like this are swimming against the tide.

Fun idea, but it'll need a handful of GREAT exclusives that I can't get on the eShop, Steam or PSN before I hop on board.

Good luck to them though, RETRO is a wonderful magazine so far.

Why is Gamester81 reviewing a dental camera? I guess he ran out of consoles to review.

As part of the audience this is being targeted towards I don't see any point or appeal in this thing but if it floats your boat, go for it.

I think there is a considerable market for plastic gaming. If the games are moderately well done - 2D platforming and such; a hybrid of SNES / NEO GEO style gaming this could do very well. I hope they have significant infvestors - the games themselves need to embrace everything about retro gaming - large durable carts, cool (hopefully hard plastic cases) w/cool artwork. The name of the console is horrible. Using the old Atari Jaguar "mold" hints at this being rushed and not fully invested though...a really poor choice there. I'll hold out hope there is enough groundswell that some more knowledgeable people get on board. I would very much be interested in something like this. I don't want a clone console or an emulation box. I want to go back to 1995.

My favorite part of the video? "Non-winged Pegasus"
I'm pretty sure those are called horses.

I'm skeptical about the appeal of this console. I don't want more systems taking up space. I'm not going to buy a console just because its new and cartridge-based. And honestly, I have trouble imagining this thing amassing a quality library titles.
