I really need to get a Retron 5 one of these days. Wouldn't mind playing some of my Sega Genesis games that I have lying around and no genesis to play them on. :(

I've seen pics of that controller before, seems interesting, but where' the merit in it over using a SNES controller?

The only advantage would be wireless or if you wanted an arcade stick using real parts.

I just saw the news, thought I would post it up for those interested.

Had to go poking around that facebook link to see the joystick. I just knew of the SNES layout NES style controller. Not bad with the wireless, not sure if it would put more input/reaction lag in there or not with really sensitive stuff like Punchout though.

Personally I just use the licensed ascii pad with the normal SNES controller with the slow mo and turbo sliders for each button.

So folks, are the bugs on these worked out enough to warrant picking one up now? I'm debating.

What's the best way to get one of these? Just Amazon or their site? Or what.

It was worth picking up at launch.

Honestly, the hardware of the earlier models was/is the worst thing about it. Not the bugs.

Haha, yeah, I just wanted to make sure any kinks that could be worked out were worked out(that and miss the rush). So, to echo Stark, what's the best way to acquire one now?
