As they've announced a sequel to Blade Runner it's prime time for Snatcher 2.

I used to be like "oh screw a panzer dragoon saga remake! I paid $350 for a copy and now people want to play it for pennies on the dollar? No thanks!!"
But after playing it, it is an absolute gem that everyone deserves to play..it is absolutely amazing, the mood, the vibe, the control, the battle system (IMO the best RPG battle system hands down) and it is a game that has left a lasting impression on me..it really is a dark and serious game, there is barely any comic relief.. Its true to itself.. It needs a remake
Also, banjo kazooie definitely needs a proper sequel.. I mean, how far off it has fallen since banjo tooie is Shawn kemp-esque (for any bball fans out there, you know what I mean).
The chrono series needs another game.
Conker deserves another game, he is such a loved mascot and he has only really been in one game (and yes I know there is conkers pocket tales but c'mon).
While we are at it, super Mario RPG definitely needs a legitimate sequel and not a spiritual successor.

I think it'd be great to see a revival of classic style Ninja Gaiden. I know we've all gotten used to the way it is now, but I'd love to see a new game made in the style of the older titles on the NES.

Indeed, Panzer Dragoon Saga is incredible. And it really would benefit from a remake, although I'd just take an untouched reissue!
Also, bustin' out the Shawn Kemp reference! Ha! Talk about a guy who let himself go... that Sonics team with Gary Payton and him were legit. And I remember Detlef Schrempf. Not sure why I can't remember anyone else! (I'm a Spurs fan first and foremost, but I always rooted against the Bulls, so the Sonics were my team the year they made the Finals.)

Here you go.
Conker in Project Spark.
They are actually giving people Episodic Conker material in Project Spark....but does that really count?
I could give you all a million titles that I would like to see remade/revived, but I am starting to realize that the big name companies behind those franchises aren't going to do it. Instead, a lot of indie developers are making games that are essentially those franchises, just in different names. Want a new Clockwork Knight game? It's out there....it's just not called Clockwork Knight.
Want a new Sonic game? Just go play Freedom Planet. It seems to be happening more and more often that the people who want these games just decide to go make them themselves and they are having a degree of success, because of the small scale nature of indie developing.

What is it called and how can I give it money?

It's called Windup Knight and is a phone app game...BUT Windup Knight 2 is being released as a standalone title for the Wii U

Freedom Planet ends up a lot more than just another Sonic game, but it is awesome, awesome stuff. Loved it. And this is coming from someone who thought Genesis-era Sonic games were merely "good".

I had no idea this existed. Shame on you for holding out on me Bogus. I am buying both tonight.

Don't fuck with perfection. No game "needs" to be remade. Now a re-release I can dig. Say XIII on the 360 without tweaks, just the game on a new(er) system.
