Would you not flunk a student for this type of ineptness? You aren't scraping the bottom of the barrel, you aren't even close to the outside of a barrel. Even including your name in the same sentence including the word "barrel" is an insult to a barrel.

So I have said "Resolution is a marketing term" and you provide slight that says "Resolution is great!" from people selling resolution, with charts that are horrific that even downies could trump within a minute.

Did you even listen to the podcast I posted? Did you even listen? Did you even listen? Apparently you didn't, as it explains clearly why YOUR EYES CAN NOT SEE SHIT THEY CAN'T SEE! But did you listen to the podcast? As common courtesy you need to listen to the podcast as it is a mutually beneficial podcast to enlighten us.

But you dont say that. You say you like something or think a certain way, and explicitly say or imply, with choice of words that conveys a tone, that anyone who disagrees or does otherwise is an idiot/moron/fool etc...

You said, "Google Why 4K is dumb". I did, and shared a couple of articles that supported your general assumption but also granted certain contexts where it isn't so dumb and where the resolution shift is discernible. You derided the results as buzzfeed fodder.

So, I eventually produced a subsequent post with more supporting expertise from people in the fields where matters of resolution, the biology of the eye, etc. are studied. They supported the "buzzfeed fodder" articles. You ignored this post.

The idea of "benefits starting" at point X on that chart isn't crazy because, again, it is about the eye's perception of pixel density across distance. That said perception is better or worse at various points and that there's a place where the benefit of a better resolution begins and ends is science, not marketing nonsense.
