On a side note, Barry Lyndon marks the 8th out of Kubrick's 13 full length films I've seen. I should really get around to finishing off his filmography.

Last movie I watched was Swearnet The Movie. If you don't know what that is, it's by The Trailer Park Boys. I thought it was pretty hilarious.

I have yet to see Fear and Desire, Killer's Kiss, The Killing, Lolita, or Eyes Wide Shut. Of his three short films, I still have yet to see The Seafarers.

I believe I have The Hustler currently saved on my DVR, though it may be a while. There's something like 50 movies saved on that thing right now. I've been slowly working through it since February and TCM's 31 Days of Oscar, which is why my posts on here have been more highbrow than they were all January. I've not heard of The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter, but I'll check it out!

I'm going to check out The Caine Mutiny, love that sort of movie.

And Barry Lyndon is possibly my favourite Kubrick after Dr. Strangelove.

I recommend it! As for Kubrick, Full Metal Jacket is my favorite. It's also my favorite movie about our involvement in Vietnam and one of my favorite war movies in general...though it's tough to beat The Dirty Dozen.

Maybe this should be a separate thread, but what fights have you given a 9 or 10?
Have you seen The Raid 2? That is what 9 or 10-rated fights look like.

Damn skippy.

DREDD was also critically underrated.
Can't really disagree with you guys. Love both movies

One of my favorite fights from The Raid 2:
