What was the last movie you've seen?
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Maybe? The Fast & Furious series has become increasingly over-the-top since the first one. Where they were once a ragtag bunch of street racers, they are now a ragtag special ops team with abilities that border on being super hero powers. It will feel completely different than what you remember and may be a bit of a shock. I thought the movie was good stupid fun though, with a great ending.

Furious 7 - 4/10
Paul's send off at the end - 10/10
But really everything before the tribute is filled with sub par acting, any excuse to have women in hot pants and short skirts (yes, even at the funeral) and desperately trying to keep cars involved in the movie. There are some real funny moments and one liners. They are few and far in between but they are there.
Great fun to watch with friends but stupid nonetheless.
I watched it in a Dolby Cinema Hall, place was super packed. Oh and the cinema also had an original Toyota Supra on display at the entrance.

This pretty much describes every Fast and Furious movie. The first one was terrible, and they have only gotten worse.Thierry Henry wrote: sub par acting, any excuse to have women in hot pants and short skirts (yes, even at the funeral) and desperately trying to keep cars involved in the movie

So I was on board through the movie; it's the dumbest of dumb but in a good way. You just buckle up and enjoy the ride.

That is Ronda Rousey. She is an undefeated UFC champion in real life and she would rip your arms out of your sockets and beat you to death with them for saying that.

Oh, I know; she kicked a lot of ass in Expendables 3 (and even got to fight against guys). But I'm commenting on her character.J T wrote:MrPopo wrote:

The Fast and Furious arcade racing game however, is better. If it felt like an extension of the Cruisin' series, it's because it was done by Eugene Jarvis.

Birdman is a brilliant film. It far exceeded my expectations. Not only on a metaphoric, acting, and plot level... the technical expertise it takes to make something like this work is godlike. Best film I've seen in quite a while.

I loved the movie, but then again I've been following the series since the beginning. I'm just a dweeb for any kind of car movie, no matter how ridiculous.
