Some of those are similar though, the last game in the series Dark Souls II was on both Microsoft and Sony and the remaster Scholar of the First Sin is coming to One and PS4. It might just be the popularity of the two series.

Might be that Bloodbourne is was expected to sell well in Japan, which as we all know is pretty much a wasteland for Microsoft consoles. Not so Tomb Raider.

There's probably also something to do with Bloodborne being a much more hardcore game than Tomb Raider is. Someone who's casually into video games has an easier time getting into Tomb Raider and that same person is more likely to only buy one console.

I think the difference is that, like Nintendo with Bayonetta 2, Sony were some way involved in initiating and supporting the development of Bloodborne, whilst I think Rise of the Tomb Raider (another random thought- too many games and films have 'rise of' in their titles) was previously announced and only later declared to be an Xbox exclusive.

So Pocky & Rocky 2 is going for over $200+ now on Amazon and Ebay, currently no listings for it on Ebay though.

Kinda crazy, i bought this game for like $25 in 2005, and the first one for maybe $15.

Just a thought. :|

Would really freshen up the series.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

SNES prizes are crazy.

Example: Bought Zombies Ate My Neighbors in a bargain bin special for $13 in 1995. This was sealed in box.

Current price today (CIB): around $60-$80.

Not as extreme as Pocky and Rocky 2, but still.

it always saddens me to see a digital service or a website die. Its like I am attending a funeral. I still remember telling a friend that there is a new service coming out where you will always get the best of graphics and you can play on any machine back in 2009.

its very sad to see the fate of OnLive given that many tech companies are betting on "the cloud" with Sony and Nvidia releasing exactly the same service. Its also sad that by the death of this company, we still don't have internet speeds that are sufficient to run OnLive (ok some might have it)
