To be fair, it is easier to finish off your PS3 collection given the widespread availability of games combined with the inevitable clearing of inventory at Gamestop.

I know. I actually anticipate finishing it off sometime in 2016.

Moreover, there aren't really any "rare and valuable" PS3 games. Certainly, there are ridiculous "collector's" or "treasure hunter's" editions, but to my knowledge, there aren't any "standard issue" games like Misadventures of Tron Bonne or Rule of Rose that command substantial premiums on the secondary market.

Not yet at least, it is way to early for that.

What went wrong with the PS Vita? The PSP was one of the best selling consoles every.

PSP's success was probably attributed to the ease of piracy.

Also, at the time PSP was a pretty decent all-in-one media device. It had a large screen that was good for viewing movies, listening to music, and playing console quality games that wasn't seen before in the space.

Could also be the lack of a killer app. Nintendo getting Monster Hunter on 3DS, for instance.

Super overpriced storage cards didn't help either.

I actually did a bit of research on the PSP vs Vita thing. I notice that most of the PSP must have or system sellers come about 4 years after the psp was released also the first years where more filled with ports... sounds like the vita to me.

This makes me wish that all of my old PC games from the late 80's early 90's came with activation codes!
