As a father of 5 year old twin girls, I can pretty much attest to this (not that I've had much choice). For one thing it is both grim and frostbitten, and is at least a second cousin to the Norwegian Black Metal scene. If you can imagine Elsa in corpse paint shrieking Let It Go against a back drop of tremolo picked guitars and blast beats, it's like a whole different movie. At the Heart of Winter indeed.

I'll also say that I quite enjoyed Despicable Me as well. It's one of those movies that the kids can enjoy for the animated antics, and I can enjoy for the not-so-subtle doffs of the cap to geek culture (in the same sort of vein as Wall-E and The Incredibles). It plays with subverting "generic super-villain" tropes in such a way that is actually pretty fun.

Your new homework is to go watch some G-rated movies Exhuminator! :lol:

Not a frozen fan, so tired of that damn movie. I generally dislike musicals as it is.
