Yeah, keep your fingers crossed.
Old NiCad batteries like those may be dead already.
Too many years have gone by.
$2.00 is not a big deal.

I still have mine in box, but never use my big gameboy, so no reason to use it.
It's been a long, dry spell round these parts, but I did manage to find some very nice gaming related and other goodies this week:
Metroid Prime (Kmart Edition) (GC)
Wave Race (GC)
Resident Evil (GC)
Animal Crossing (GC)
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (GC)
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (GC)
Prince of Persia: Two Thrones (GC)
Killzone (PS2)
All the games have their respective manuals and are surprisingly scratch free I sadly could not track down a Wavebird, nor an extra memory card.
$1.50 each
Force Unleashed Guide - $0.15
Singularity (360)
Fallout: New Vegas (360)
- $1.50 each
Marvel VS. Capcom (PS)
- $0.25
Still don't have a 360, but I am slowly acquiring a nice, small collection for it's inevitable purchase. They did have a couple other 360 games, but they were either too scratched for my liking, or in the case of Grand Theft Auto IV, had a crack in the center Oh well. Of course, after I found Marvel VS. Capcom sitting there so nicely on the shelf, I didn't really care
I know, right? Things like this are the reason I keep saying that it's a great idea to make nice with the local thrift store workers/owners. When I originally picked up the game, it wasn't priced. Now, usually disc such as this are priced around $1-2, with a big, red mark on the back. For some reason, this one had gotten past them. So when I asked one of the regular workers how much it was, she had to go in the back and ask the guy who prices the electronics. When she came back, she told me that since he knew I was the one who asked about it, that he said I could have it for the extravagant price of "one quarter."
Finally seem to be finding some stuff; my local thrift store called me to let me know they got some video game stuff and asked if I wanted any. I quickly enquired as to what some of the 'stuff; was. They said some Psone games and Dreamcast games. When I asked if they could read off some of the titles, they answered with "crash bandicoot" and "final fantasy". I kept pushing, until he read off "jojo's bizarre adventure". I instantly knew I wanted to drive over and buy buy buy.
When I got there I shifted through the lot of stuff and found Jojo's Bizarre adventure, as well as Evolution 2 and Time Stalkers (some pretty good DC games). But what was really interesting was what condition they were in...
Yea, sealed.
Evolution 2
Timestalkers
Crazy Taxi
Grant Theft Auto 2
Jojos Bizarre Adventure
Sega GT
Maken X
were all sealed. The top 4 were all 5.99 each and the bottom 3 were 2.99 each
Along with those I also picked up:
Wild Arms 5.99
Granstream Saga 2.99
Soul Fighter 2.99
Mortal Kombat Trilogy 2.99
Atari Anniversary 2.99
Rampage 2 2.99
Crash 2.99
FF Chronicles 2.99
I picked up the Mario 64 and Zelda earlier in the week, they were 2.99 each.

Insanely jealous of JoJo. All I want is a copy, any copy of that game. Just a little too high to buy outright for me.
